It was funny, sad, yet encouraging to hear the loud cheer from the crowd after Maye's 1st completed pass.

What is up with the end of game run the clock out without trying too hard BS? Treat it like a practice to get experience with time management. Then again, they were probably just happy that Maye survived, so I understand why they did it. Still really sucks as a fan.
I think the end of the half and the end of the game were both poorly coached. At the end of the half the coaching was bailed out by a great play. If not for that pass they would have run out of time with timeouts left. At the end of the game the offense was moving again. I do not know why they gave up on the drive. Seemed like a low risk high reward situation to me.

What if Maye gets hurt on a pass play in the last minute, second guess galore why not run out the clock instead of meaningless playss. How much you are learning against backups just playing prevent anyways.
Though I would personally keep going and try to score I'm not too upset with the decision to get out of there without any more hits on Maye.

Yeah I get what you are saying but to me if you strategy is mainly to avoid injury then it is hard to move forward. Right now it is about getting snaps and experience. Another big play to end the game would have brought some much needed confidence.

I think there was some interesting choices at the end of the first half. Calling the Time out to save time before the punt. Then having to run on first down because they had all 3 time outs.

But buried in there was easily AVPs best call of the season. In part because of Slye's leg strength but also because we still had 3rd down to get a few more yards and a more manageable FG if necessary. I thought based on the D needing to defend giving up a FG it was the perfect time to take that shot.

Rham was really missed yesterday his knack for breaking Tackles is something. Maye needs Rham they're going be a awesome RB and QB duo: Gibby is more of a pass catching RB not a #1 guy.

K Boutte Needs to get more touches BB left us with Two really nice late round WR's in Pop and Boutte and we said he can't draft WR's: well in the Second Round based on history.

Patience.A couple of those TD’s against us were on the refs. There is reason to hope. I think we have the QB and a capable defense. Let them get it figured out to plug the holes and see what works. Pats WILL be back!

How about Kayshon Boutte? I didn’t expect for him to have climbed from bubble player to starter to arguably our second best receiver and starter.
Boutte is a first round stud who for his own reasons became a sixth round flier. However, beating Stingley like he was a replacement player was eye popping. As I said earlier, Boutte and Pop could be the heartbeat of the WR rotation for a while. With Kayshon we need to see it over several games but the talent has aways been there

Why is Dante Hall wearing a KC Chiefs shirt shilling in a commercial for East Coast Metal Roofing? I feel I've seen this commercial immediately after both losses the last two weeks.

Also the much vaunted Christian Gonzalez was absolutely roasted on a bunch of plays yesterday. I get that it was poor effort all around on D but there were guys so wide open at times that I could have made those catches.

This team has a long way to go. It’s hard to even know where to start. If this last offseason is a look into Wolfe’s rebuilding skills, I’m concerned about how long, if ever, it will take to get to playoff caliber. Polk, Robinson and Wallace have been a non-factor when given plenty of time to prove that they belong. His FA signings aside from Gibson have been uninspiring. The only thing they’ve got going for them is the perceived potential of Maye. There were a few hits that looked to take him out but he survived, hung in there, and aside from the turnovers showed he could hang with the big boys. Let’s hope he continues to grow, reduce the mistakes, and give the team a real core piece to build off of. AVP needs to go and a few more games of putrid defense and Im ready to call the Covington experience a bust as well.
Why do people keep spelling his name "Wolfe"? It's just "Wolf" no "E". It even takes less effort to type. I don't get it.
