What would you think of 4-5 after nine games?

At this stage would rather lose and grab draft picks but looking at expectations 4-5 is ahead of schedule.

Can’t wait to see that delightful game tomorrow. Go Pats

Draft is a crapshoot.. Better to get the wins and find out core team for next year .

I would want Jacobs , Thomas, leverett, Jordan and Lowe to develop and take 2-3 slots of offensive line. That would be bigger than getting a top 5 pick . We should not be forced to take a LT with top pick. Rather than able to take a difference maker with our first round pick . It could be an edge rusher, CB, linebacker or wide receiver in addition to tackle.

Very few rookie tackles shine. And move onwenu to right guard and replace him in year 3 if he doesn't maintain his weight and get to pro bowl form.

I would think that Maye came in and played well. I would also think it meant our OL was looking at least average.

I am never one for tanking, so I would be ecstatic if we were 4-5. A high draft pick would be awesome but not enough for me to want them to only win 3 games.

4-5 would be great. Think it’ll be worse tho…

It only happens if they play Maye.

They’ll be lucky to win 4 games with Brissett.

4-5 would be a pleasant surprise. I’m a believer that wins now will help this team next season more than losses.

1-8 is more likely

Wirfs is a great example. I don’t know or care what PFF recorded, he was pretty mediocre as a rookie. His technique was barely at college level; he was surviving solely on his outstanding talent. Then he upped his game through hard work and is one of the best OTs in the game.

This is how it should unfold.

Miami has a 50 - 50 shot if Thompson plays.

That would be unfortunate. It would neither establish that the present team is worth a damn, nor would it help to gain the team the high draft picks it obviously needs to build a team worthy of our support.
