Does anyone think there is a chance Mayo is one and done?

Tyrone Smith, Morgan Moses
Tyrone is old. Probably won’t make it through the season. Thought Chuks was a solid move but unfortunately that went about as bad as it possibly could have. Bill ****ed up drafting guards year after year when we needed tackles.

Signing Rham was idiotic. There was no need to sign him at that point in time.

Henry is in a really good situation in Baltimore. Having Lamar in the backfield a threat to run has made it difficult for defenses to focus on Henry.

Jerry Jones has already been criticized on not signing Henry. It's very strange times where teams have no problem rolling into the season with pedestrian RB's and it's haunts them during the season. The devaluing of the RB has gone way too far.
I viewed the Rham signing as a culture signing, and filing a hole.
However I’ve always believed there’s only about 5 elite RBs worthy of that kind of coin.
The line is more important than the runner itself.

My reaction to the signing was wow that’s a lot of money and they must really like him.
Now he is being threatened to be benched looks awful.

I think there's always a chance, because we've seen teams fire a guy after one season, even when he's taken over a bad team to begin with. It just takes an especially brutal season, and there probably needs to be rumblings that the locker room is already lost. So if that happens, Mayo could be one and done. But I don't personally see it happening. Kraft doesn't strike me as the reactionary type. He's going to give Wolf/Mayo at least two years: Year one to reset and establish a baseline, year two to show improvement of some kind. If they show no improvement at all in year 2, the leash is gonna get real short.
That’s how you get to be Carolina.

I don't know what they hell they were thinking with the Rham signing. He was regressing and running behind a deteriorating line. Wouldn't you think they'd like to see how he does after they attempted to upgrade the line (they didn't) before handing out prizes like Oprah?

Politics will force him to play. The Pats aren't in the position to put players on a "time out". Those days are over.

Rest in Peace Dikembe.

Sorry, don't have the time to be fact checking all your posts for lies, so no use responding, Also, being 100% wrong on every post you make is a pretty high % and will assume applies here as well.
This is like that time you told us the line was good right before they gave up seven sacks to the Jets... riddled with falsehoods.

But you do you...

No. You don't stick with him. The issue isn't firing him. The issue was hiring him to begin with.
I definitely agree with that.

This isn't year 4 this is year 1.
So the Cam Newton, Mac Jones and Bailey Zappe era must have been a hallucination then. The Patriots pissed away 3 years before this one.

No, he’s not one and done.

But lose Sunday to the imploded Phins? Yeah, that’s suddenly up for discussion.

By your measure, we're currently in Year 5. Since the Pats made the playoffs in 2021, however, that should have reset the "overall" rebuild counter, so now we're currently in Year 3. In Mayo years, it's obv Year 1, and I don't think he's a one and done.

Trade him to Dallas. We’re not going to be close to contending during his contract and they still need a rb.

i am referring to the guy who thought going into the season with this o-line would be sufficient
Not only thought it, but had a press conference and declared the OL adequate to the fans. Also declared on draft night that Wallace could play LT. Also signed Okorafor with the intention to move him to LT. Wolf is clueless.

What is the old saying? Better to keep your mouth shut then open it and prove you are an idiot.
