Agree. I'm looking at it like drakes guys will be polk, Baker, pop and FA # 1 next season... I don't understand why baker's been in the doghouse.
You should sneak into a Press Conference.

It’s going to take years to fix and may never get fixed if Wolf keeps signing stiffs.

He signed and relied on bad players, that’s not something that needs time to fix… it needed better decisions this offseason.
Until we fix the line how about have 5 guys that can stay healthy enough to play together for a series of games.. we know the talent isn't there buy they still need cohesion right now it's a bunch of ****ty used cars. Andrews might be done and I bet he retires in the off season.

He's been getting doubled.. uche is a disappointment... baker clearly is in the dog house for one reason or another.. D wise has been the only other player creating pressure.
Wise has been a hated player on here for years, but he's quietly a solid player.

It's not the line it's all Mac Jones fault. Just like it was last year with a line that was totally elite after week 3. Totally.
Last year they had old coaches running the Earnhardt Perkins scheme and the new coaches Jonathan hired teaching the West Coast offense. They had better linemen but more injuries… oh yeah, and Mac sucked substantially worse than Jacoby. Add to that a rookie kicker that couldn’t kick and you get the 32nd ranked offense.

This year they have all the coaches on the same page, running the same scheme, worse linemen and actually improved with the loss of Lowe and Okorafor but still dealt with injuries to Sow and now Andrews. They’re the 28th worst offense in points scored.

The third overall pick, all their picks at the top of every round, the third most cap space and most money to spend going forward… that wasn’t enough for Wolf to fill what amounts to three positions. Two now that he found a kicker in free agency.

Wolf fcked up… but blame Bill. You should be able to milk this for years to come.

I love wise his passion and he has a great motor for an older player.. I really thought uche would carve out a nice pass rushing role.. he's always out of position.. we really missed Jennings yesterday guy is a hell of an edge setting LB.

Drafting Maye was sensible to me, but I think Wolf made bad decisions with stop-gap QB and OL. OL is making everyone look bad and it's not all injuries. It's woefully inadequate talent and everyone knew it.

I miss Judon.

They have two good guards in Onwenu and Sow. Jacobs can potentially be good at tackle but is a big unknown.

They don’t have the horses… this was a failure by the GM in the offseason. We’re stuck watching this dreck for the remainder of this season.

Who hates Wise? He's done nothing but get better every year. This year might be the first without improving and he's still our second best linemen behind White. Just might have finally hit his ceiling.

There's been posters over the years (including myself at one time) that either wern't high on Wise or wanted him gone, but he's been solid the last couple of years.

So far they all seem to get each others back but that's the fear with the power structure they set up.
The dysfunction is already starting to show.
Wolf said he felt they had all of the pieces for a good OL.
Covington is saying it’s not Xs and Os.
Mayo is calling out some players but effusively supporting the Qb who has been worse than jones and Zappe.

And the team plays worse each week.
We got destroyed by the Jets who couldn’t beat Denver and are the only team the 9ers beat other than us.

The finger pointing and CYA is going to grow.
There is no improvement on the horizon, you get what you pay for.

Yeah.. of all the guys to keep.. don't understand why we kept the former GMs lemons in Wheatley, Anderson and lowe. Lowe is another guy who's either sucked or been hurt since he's been here.. I don't know what wolf was thinking.

I don't think he losses confidence if he is taking 30% of the reps in practice and shows growth throughout the season. He may be frustrated because he thinks he can play better but I am fine taking the risk of him being frustrated opposed to potentially having a Mac Jones, Bryce Young or Zach Wilson on our hands.
If he is Mac Jones, Bryce Young or Zach Wilson better to find out now and move on sooner.
You don’t turn someone into a bad QB. Those 3 suck and would suck just as badly if they sat until now.

Gee I wonder what GM thought a kicker who ended up busting was worth the 112th pick of the draft. I wonder if it was the same guy that spent a pick on another kicker the year before who didn't make the team at all....

You literally said last season the line was doing a great job after week 3 and scoffed at my stats showing they were one of the worst pass blocking lines in the NFL. Should be clear now that it was not even close to great and played a huge role in the two QBs falling on their faces.

Oh I do blame Bill for the lack of talent on the roster, he owns it all. As for Wolf it was only an f-up if you think Bill's mess was an easy fix in one offseason and the team was a contender this year. I didn't believe that. But I'm giving him and the rest of the coaching staff at least a year to sort it out.

Management has sent mixed messages through the media all year. It's definitely a flaw of them trying to be the opposite of Bill with media. But I think that's all it is right now. Internally everything seems on the same page.

I believe the players are all still buying into the coaches. For how long who knows. I'm sure as the loses mount this will get more interesting and hopefully nothing major occurs.

I definitely do not think there is any infighting between Mayo, Wolf, AVP, and Covington at all and that was what I really meant. And again hopefully they all have the fortitude not to let anything creep in this season they all knew what they signed up for so they all need to stay committed to the collaborative.

But you can’t keep a guy on the field who stinks because of cohesion. Robinson is a huge liability. Did you watch what Collins did to him on back to back plays? I’ve was abused like a 98 lb weakling. Cohesion doesn’t fix that.

Whoever we put at LT has been putrid. Cohesively putrid is still putrid.

I think the biggest issue is we don’t know how to evaluate OL. We drafted Wallace to be a LT when it’s clear he isn’t. We resigned a good G and made him into an average at best RT.

But ultimately teams with OL issues still run effective offenses. We don’t have the brain trust to do that.

I was done with Uche after week 2. Dude cannot be more than a sub package pass rusher. Jennings has looked good out there but no real pass rush. I think the issues with the defense is more attributed to them being on the field, same as last year. The big difference is Barmore being out is a much bigger issue than Judon being out last year because pressure up the middle is more impactful than outside pass rush.
