Daniel Jones 140 rating in the first half and Giants up big…. didn’t see that coming

Today is a pretty good day for the "not putting young QB's out on the field in a bad situation" crowd

well there goes my survivor pick. Tampa is letting me down !

Diggs talking sternly to his QB on the sideline. Not saying it’s a « thing » but that’s been his MO since forever.
Oh..its a "thing".

My weekly picks are going down again

AR should be on the bench learning in IND right now, just piss poor Football IQ

The NFL season this year is neurotic to the max. Any given I guess but its more than that.

Brian Flores is on a Bill Belichick trajectory.

1. Played college football for a New England school
2. Started his coaching career in the NFL by washing dirty laundry and getting coffee.
3. Became defensive position coach before being elevated to DC for Super Bowl winning defenses.
4. Took his first coaching job with a pathetic franchise with an owner whose decisions tanked the season.
5. Turned on the favorite QB of the local fans and ended up being hated for it.
6. Was fired then became the DC for two different teams where he promptly turned around both of those teams' defensive fortunes.
7. Was proven right in his assessment of the starting QB when he was the coach.

The only difference is that Belichick actually lead the Browns to a playoff victory.

Now let's see what's next for Flores. Does he get another job? Does he turn them around? Does he hook up with a quality offensive mind like Charlie Weis to run the offense?

Vikings looking quite formidable

Chargers borrowed our O-Line.
Herbert now hurt.

His résumé deserves another chance. I do wonder if his lawsuit and some of the things said about the way he treated players will make it harder for him to get a job as HC.

You had me until "quality offensive mind like Charlie Weis".

Caleb Williams is gonna be one of those uncoachable "I do what I do" QB's who will hang around a few years and amount to nothing.

Update: just threw another int.

Flores is an above-average DC....period.

The Browns benched Dawand Jones

Edit: and now his replacement got hurt, so he’s back in lol

Edit2: and he gave up a sack

I would just like to point out at this point that Daniel Jones has two more passing TDs today than the entire rookie class has this season thus far and Jones has two today.

Nix is going to get a ton of praise for today but he has had 3-4 pickable throws, has had all day to throw and 99% short throws. I saw one really good throw.
Tampa Bay did not come to play today at all, laying an egg. Back to back offsides on 3rd and 14?

Wow, Denver is up 17-7 over the Buccaneers. Nix - so far - is 18/22 for 169 yards. Wouldn't have expected that.
He’s going to be the best QB drafted this year and it won’t be close.

**** I think Smith in PHI got smoked
