We know them and they know us.. will be a short week for both teams.. it's pretty much get the win and get out healthy and get to the mini- byeI think they always prepare for two games, but I wonder how much they have to prepare for a division rival.
Peppers says that's ass.. I was looking forward to hitting him.Yess.
People get hurt in this game they would be silly if they think Brissett will last the season. That's a really good move by them integrating Maye.Read a report somewhere yesterday that Drake Maye is taking 30% of the first string practice reps... Interesting if true. Hurts Jacoby a bit but would seem like a clear indication that they're trying to still prep Maye to start soon.
This was Done going back to end of last preseason game. I believe the plan is to have maye ready.. they know the line is a liability and it makes sense.People get hurt in this game they would be silly if they think Brissett will last the season. That's a really good move by them integrating Maye.

Vincent Brown would bury Mayo...Name the Patriots LBers better than him. I'm not saying he's the best but He's probably 5th-10th best (depending how break it down between OLB/ilb/edge).
Nelson
Hightower
Bruschi
Johnson
Buonicotti
Mayo
I'm sure I'm missing someone
Yes, absolutely yes to Malcolm being there Sunday!
I hope they don't bring him in when we play the Eagles.
With the new gameplans, coaching staff and players I don't think the Pats know any teams this year. Should be a good game, especially if the Pats play competitively against Seattle. We know them and they know us.. will be a short week for both teams.. it's pretty much get the win and get out healthy and get to the mini- bye
.. 10 days off.
How AVP gameplans around the left side of the line will be a good indicator of his capability. I is is a win if he finds a way to prevent this limitation from totally derailing the offense.True, i get the OL concerns but hopefully maye is better equipped to handle them. Think at this point we can just accept that there will be a fair amount of pressure coming off the left edge this year. In preseason at least Maye showed the ability to slide up in the pocket and deliver a strong ball. The key to me is keeping the interior strong, thus far Layden has had a couple breakdowns each game I’ve seen him in. He’ll need to improve there and i feel like he can with experience.

Referring to the Jets. Yes we know thier scheme. We always play tight games with them.. being a division opponent. Even when we're were winning Jets always played us tough. With the new gameplans, coaching staff and players I don't think the Pats know any teams this year. Agree here. I wonder if Okorafor starts at LT being he was pulled? The left side until someone solidifies it will definitely be a weak spot.. maye and his abilities definitely help the O line.. I also believe some of those deep passes Brissett missed maye completes. So we will see as the season goes on.True, i get the OL concerns but hopefully maye is better equipped to handle them. True, I was referring to the need to revamp the Pats part of the equation. On the surface the Jets are a good team to have on a short schedule, I am just pointing out that this year is a bit different. Even though the team understands the Jets schemes based on the old offense, there are a lot of new faces and AVP needs to formulate a new gameplan.Referring to the Jets. Yes we know thier scheme. Too much man coverage - they won't go the whole game just in man. They'll mix in zone - cover-2 and 3 probably to make Seattle string plays together and allow the defense to face the QB. I doubt they're far enough along by game 2 to add in combo coverage, but maybe because this secondary has been (mostly) together a couple years that's an option.Hawkins can spy gino Smith because he's still mobile..
Yes understand. I think what gives an advantage is our staff is revamped. So teams even in our division can't rely on past practices. Plus the offense is a new scheme.True, I was referring to the need to revamp the Pats part of the equation.
