Going into the stadium of a team that is widely considered a Super Bowl contender and getting the upset is fantastic. Especially considering how ill prepared the team looked after pre -season.

Mayo at least after the 1st game, is reminiscent of old school BB. Great defensive play, dialing up pressure at the right times, great ST play, and a run first offense that can grind out yards and support your QB.

When and if Maye is ready to step in or is forced into starting this year. It looks like he will have some strong complimentary play from the rest of the team.

Definitely a reason to feel good about him when he's ready if they can run the ball like this. He'd likely hit a few of those balls Brissett missed today.

I had VERY little faith in the OL. Those guys really stepped up. Wasn’t perfect, but when you consider - and the rushing yards…. Coach should be very proud.

Haven't enjoyed a game that much since whenever. When Stevenson made that 1st down run it felt like the Pats were back. Long way to go but we looked like there is something to build on. Maybe not a Superbowl run but respectability should be possible.

Stevenson’s two first downs at the end of the game are the exclamation point. They can finish.

Scary part is that I believe the offense can be way better with Maye.

Still very meh in pass protection though.

But, yeah, as long as we can run the ball, it will help in the passing game.

They were bad in both pass and run protection. Stevenson was met at the LOS or worse almost every play. He just played lights out.

I don’t want to read too much into this…. The team exploded in week 1 when Parcells was out and Carroll was in, feeling like their leash was off. We know how that turned out.

That said, Mayo coached a flawless game today. The game plan was A+ and he knew to take out Chucks after the poor start. And the team really does seem to love him. Most importantly, it *looked * like a Belichick-coached team and game plan…. Which ironically we hadn’t actually seen since 2021. Great win for the team and the coach, hope it keeps up!

OL played much better than advertised
Rham was fantastic
D was very good especially the DL
SP teams esp Schooler had a hella game
Maye will be starting by the mid way point if Brisette does not work on his accuracy
