That was before they started to coach him up down in Jokesonville.Didn't we start 1-3 for three years straight with the immortal Mac Jones?

I know when it started spiraling last last after the NO game.. Bill kept saying "start over" .but we weren't until Bill was gone
Looks to me like this board is well prepared for an historic tanking job. I'm sure the coaching staff and front office is quite relieved that they can't fail to meet such low expectations. I wonder if 83 year old Robert Kraft is that patient though...1-3 is what I anticipate. 0-4 would be a bit of a disappointment because it would likely mean that the offense is still stuck in neutral. However I wouldn’t be too worked up about it.
I think the funnier question is how this board would react if this team started 3-1 or 4-0.
Incredible job for the organization to punt on a season and have the fan base believing they did a good job.Looks to me like this board is well prepared for an historic tanking job. Other than veteran knowledge Brissett brings no threat to the position that DCs are worried about. For example Josh Mcown, hoyer were all veterans that never posed threats to a defense. As you've seen me post. If throws are off, INTS, I expect him to be sat sooner than we'd expect. Because if the offense looks any semblance to last season than Brissett Will be benched.I expect them to start the season off pretty slow. Really, I want to see enough from the line that the rest of the offense can be competitive. If it's run for nothing, sack, run for nothing over and over, it's going to get very old, very fast.
That seems about right. If they played Cincy tough week 1. Where it was a 1 score game all throughout the game I believe that would do so much for thier confidence. As great as Burrow is Mayo's not going to just sit back and allow him to pick apart the secondary. I want gonzo to put his stamp on this game, and show why's he is projected to be a future ALL PRO.1-3 is what I anticipate. 0-4 would be a bit of a disappointment because it would likely mean that the offense is still stuck in neutral. However I wouldn’t be too worked up about it.

They don't hit the QBs in practice so that is dubious reportingSomehow I just don’t see that. Didn’t they surrender 15 sacks in practice vs Philly?Maye would decrease the sacks but would still take a lot of punishment. JB will be lucky to see week 4. He’s not very mobile and thats gonna be a problem.
I've sid personally this season is important for alot of reasons.Gonna feel like taking castor oil as a kid. It’ll suck but *eventually* it’ll fix you up. So we gotta think how great it will be getting the best college offensive tackle on the planet with that #1 pick!!
Remember doing that in Curtis Martin’s rookie year. The team definitely had a let down year but his rookie season was fun to watch starting with that Cleveland game week 1.I've been a fan since they were the Boston Patriots, so I have been through some pretty extensive dry spells! You just root for the team in a different way. You don't root so much for the record as for progress. You don't gloat over wins; you look for reasons to hope. It's a different sort of fun. You tell yourself, "Well, we may not have won, but..." then cite some bright spot in the gloom. It's the way most fans root for their teams. We were blissfully or freakishly immune from this reality for a remarkably long time, but the general nature of things will always reassert itself. Let's all reread Ecclesiastes, reflect on vanity, and move on, hoping for things to turn as they pretty much always do, in time.
