He’s a hometown kid I doubt they would trade him anyway.Jacksonville will not trade him. He is a very good backup.

Interesting choice of words though. “Patriots way”. I guess he is entitled to chirp after beating us with Foles when it mattered.I don’t even understand what Pederson means here. “Revert to his Patriots ways and we have to remind him he’s in Jacksonville”? What? Is he saying he forgets he’s not the QB1? Or he gets skittish randomly for no reason? Or he gets a pissy attitude? Not sure what “Patriots ways” Mac would have that could be overwritten just by reminding him he’s not in New England.
He's clearly just taking a shot and saying what Mac does right is because of my coaching and what he does wrong is him reverting.I don’t even understand what Pederson means here. “Revert to his Patriots ways and we have to remind him he’s in Jacksonville”? BOB was a political football in the middle of the power struggle between Thunder & son, and our now departed coach. He didn't stand a chance last year, imo. Consequently, everybody stunk from the top down. Mr. Peppers enunciated the struggle quite clearly.I am not a fan of Bill O'Brien. I think he did a terrible job here. At least the results were bad. No doubt about it.
However, had had an accomplished track record, and has had success his first stint here and at all his subsequent stops before returning to New England. We should have out performed the Patricia offense by leaps and bounds just based on his proven ability to run a pro level offense. We didn't.
Mac Jones and his failings exacerbated whatever else was wrong with the team last year is the point.
More than a little hyperbolic there Sam.if Mac becomes a pro bowl QB with another team, it will be the single biggest embarrassment for this franchise of all time

Yeah, think you guys are probably right. “I’m the best coach and his prior coaches were dumbasses.” Okay Doug, good for you. He’s a fine coach but he hasn’t even won a playoff game in a while and has one ring, maybe pump the brakes a bit bud.Could be the offense and the calls he makes at the line, or his mechanics/footwork. Pederson comes from the WC tree.
EDIT: Now that I think about it, that's likely also an underhanded swipe at BB.
he's a turd... got lucky in 2017, and has fallen off a cliff since then... a steady decline.Yeah, think you guys are probably right. “I’m the best coach and his prior coaches were dumbasses.” Okay Doug, good for you. By that point Lawrence’s mega deal will be in full effect and it’ll be harder to compete. Poor guys.he's a turd... got lucky in 2017, and has fallen off a cliff since then... a steady decline.
pretty soon the polished shine on that pos that is Jacksonville is gonna wear off once they figure out he's basically wasting Trevor Lawrence...
Yup, he is an OK backup QB with NFL experience that JAX secured for a 6th. I'm sure that they are, and will be, Ok with that.He is who he is.

I think I was fine until that Pro Bowl Griddy. That sent me over the edge.Wow, such enduring hate. All the more impressive if he has the top QB rating with throws like that.
IMO. Mac's fatal problem is that he is panic prone. Can't be a successful NFL QB if you crack under pressure.
That was annoying for sure but the 2006 AFCCG game was worse to me. Blew a big halftime lead against Indy and missed a free Super Bowl win against Sexy Rexy and the bad news Bears. Reche effin Caldwell manNah 18-1 will always be #1 on that list.
I’d say the Colts one was more annoying because of the missed opportunity but maybe not as embarrassing cause no shame getting beat by Peyton. That was annoying for sure but the 2006 AFCCG game was worse to me. Was just gonna say I think Lisa Olson would probably have an opinion on thisThose were tough losses and hard pills to swallow but not embarrassments.
My first thought would be Zeke Mowat
