This team had no chance to win the next 2 years so should be planing to win with the next coach after this experiment is over. They refuse to spend money on players and assembled a horrible coaching staff.
Can you give me the winning lottery numbers for this week while you're at it?

And they've spent a lot of money this offseason, you're factually incorrect.

Lottery numbers are random.

They are sitting on $43 million dollars of cap space that they chose not to use and must of what they did use was low cash to cap spending. Please tell me about all the big money acquisitions I missed

No, I know. I don't like it either. But I thought it was funny because this would not be the way they did business under Bill, even as they would be having the same conversations behind the scenes.
Welcome to 2024 when a player can show up, not work and get paid. IMO, if they aren't close on a contract, they should just trade him and eliminate the distraction.

Maye struggling, Judon drama, Barmore likely gone for the year, heck of a start to camp.

Day 5 training camp recap.

Judon still not participating. Is this a health thing or a contract issue?
….
Movin’ the Chains being onsite today was part of Judon’s decision to act out today IMHO. He was scheduled to be with them but that was canned when he pulled his stunts today.

I’ve been on the side of paying him until now, fully cognizant they paid him last year when they didn’t have to. He’s still the best player on the team IMHO, especially with Barmore being out. The only thing I didn’t like so much with him is the way it seemed like his production slowed as the season progressed but I was really hoping to see White emerge and Barmore continue his upward trajectory from last year.

At this point however think this year is a bridge year anyway and they ought to move on, but not until the market improves for the Pats. I expect this to be either after final cuts or into September.
I think Barmore’s health issue made Judon decide he needs to resolve contract issue ASAP, before another health issue arises. Judon is already suffering detrimental effect on his negotiating position from being injured last season and this is most likely his last big money contract opportunity. He rightly doesn’t want to see it blown up by some training camp injury.

Let's just all take it easy and wait until they start putting the pads on... I have mine on in preparation for the upcoming season:

I'm just kidding. I'm a 20-0 guy.

Im talking about the present.

Obviously you are joking with that list as a response to my question. It’s half a list of what a team trying to compete would have spent missing 40,000,000 of cap room which if spent on high value players might be 150,000,000 cash.

Coming off last year no Big Name FA's wanted to come here they preferred their original or other Teams. This new Regime is trying to build through the draft give Peace a Chance.

Just being honest.
One thing we can be certain of the Offense won't be as abysmal as the last Two years. The TO machine Mac 10 ain't here anymore and I think we have some good players at WR this time around again give them some time.

Shows that there there's a heck of a lot more to him. I watched Ton of WR tapes and after I saw Baker's yeah I was sold. I was thinking somebody is going to pull the trigger in the Second on this kid. I remember saying On Day 3 of the Draft Fourth Round Wolf please Trade up and get this kid in the Fourth. Baker was my favorite pick of the entire 2024 Draft.

Hard to be worse than 10 was but hard to say we are going to be better. We went out and found the one guy who may be worse and seem intent on playing him instead of the future.
Brissett may be the only qb out there with worse w/l record, ypa and td% than 10.

Leaving 40 million on the table isn’t what you don’t you are committed to winning. They never intended to spend, Mayo got his wrist slapped for assuming they would. There were plenty of players to sign.

These are the "big money" acquisitions in your mind? Is that what you meant by posting this list of Patriot players?
