If you draft one you'll have them on a cost controlled contract for four years minimum... then you can decide to pay them or replace them.

Trading a first, then paying top of the market contract is dumb.

I beg to differ my friend.. 2024 is a pivotal year for the franchise.. we've had throw away years last 2 seasons..

RK wants to win while Drake and all the young guys are all developing...

We need to allow mayo and his staff to acclimate into the season to put his stamp on things.

Could we win 8 games while doing all of this? .. very good chance we can.

While I like DeeDee, Higgins as well.. and would love to have them! I'd like to see what polk and baker can become.. if these guys become elite Players wich I think they can.. then we are playing eith house money.. Polk is the guy doing all the intermediate stuff baker can absolutely get deep and go up and get it!

I have to tell you neither of those guys are elite number 1s which is what Lamb is.
Can you even name Dallas number 2 or 3 wr without looking it up?
Lamb performed and showed out with mediocre talent at the other spots and always getting the defenses rolled to him.

Higgins has a far superior catch radius than lamb, and he's a better contested catch guy. Lamb is a great WR In his own right but he's not leaps and bounds better than Higgins.. just my opinion. However lamb has all the leverage Dallas has no one remotely close to him on the roster. I'd say they problay choose pay him over dak this season is likely.

Same as Aiyuk: You would need a deal in place prior to making the trade. But I think Lamb will cost upper 30's instead of lower 30's.

Given the above, I wouldn't trade a 1st rounder for him.

I think we are going to be a very competitive Team. Yes the Schedule looks very tough on paper but injuries are a part of the game. A lot of our Opponents might come up lame like in Mac Jones rookie year: as Boomer use to say "that's why they play the games".
