Sounds about right. Tatum should’ve been the MVP, leading the team in points rebounds and assists, but he seems OK with brown winning, and great athletes always like to have little mini drivers so that can be another one for himMY MVP Championship Round

Nah, they live here. Tatum‘s in Newton, Brown’s in Wellesley, etc. They want to go on vacation to South Beach for a couple days and go crazy, good for themthis team trip to Miami is a disappointing look
As a Bostonian on the younger side I can say with confidence that these young athletes want to go and party and let’s face it Miami is a better spot to do it than Boston, which I’m sure they’ve already exhausted those spots. Miami is where they find the Instagram models, hit up the biggest clubs, party on yachts etc. Those two are the essential glue.
How anyone can actually listen to her is mystifying. I don't care how much she studies the game, her presence is a DEI contrivance and her voice/delivery are irritating as hell. I can tune out what she's saying but the sound, ugh. Dozens of men who played or coached in the NBA would add so much more to the broadcast.
BTW, this team trip to Miami is a disappointing look, IMO. If those guys wanted to OWN Boston, they'd do something locally.
Good luck to them with all that hot Latina ass…I sure as **** would go there. Just report back in shape and focused for next season. As a Bostonian on the younger side I can say with confidence that these young athletes want to go and party and let’s face it Miami is a better spot to do it than Boston, which I’m sure they’ve already exhausted those spots. It is what it is. I’m guessing the Bucks and Nuggets players went to do the same after winning. Nothing to be annoyed by.
Dominating how? Reg season? Post -season. 2018 Pats waxed the Chargers, beat the Queefs in Arrowhead and ***** -slapped the Lambs in the SB. 11-5 in the reg season is irrelevant. Most dominating Boston sports title since the 2018 Red Sox.
2008-2010 Celtics were a dominant team. Healthy they win 3 straight.I also don't think there is any question that they were more dominating than the 08 team. From start to finish.
That team was taken to 7 and 6 games by inferior teams (Cavs/Heat). There was definitely a period where their title hopes were up in the air. Sans Lakers choke in game 4, it's possible they lose.
During this postseason, there was never a time it felt like the Celtics would lose a series. Even after the game 4 loss, I didn't sense panic anywhere. Everyone knew it was a blip.
They are in a position to be here for many years to come. Undoubtedly, they are the city's best hope for winning titles. Patriots/Red Sox aren't playoff contenders. Bruins are missing alot to make that next step.
It’s weird that I never loved that team despite rooting hard for them.2008-2010 Celtics were a dominant team. Healthy they win 3 straight.
I get it.It’s weird that I never loved that team despite rooting hard for them.
The Celtics have earned the right to go crazy and enjoy what they accomplished together. To the victor go the spoils.Good luck to them with all that hot Latina ass…I sure as **** would go there. Just report back in shape and focused for next season.
I genuinely believe that Pacers team is underrated and would be a really tough out for most teams in the league. In all honesty Carlisle blew at least one, arguably two games for them against the Celtics. Finally home from work. So many emotions, so much love for this team.
I'll start with Dallas and Indy. I personally think they are both very good teams who simply ran into a buzzsaw. The media is ripping Dallas for poor play in the Finals. The fact is Boston played out of their minds on both ends of the court, and not a single team they ran into could keep up. I expect both teams to be right back in the thick of it next season.
I'm not the least bit surprised the Brown won MVP, but man did Tatum do everything he could last night to make it a tough choice. It was good to see him exorcise some demons while Dallas could only watch. When that turnaround jumper is hitting he simply can't be stopped.
As amazing as Tatum and Brown were, the lesser heroes will be the ones I remember. Horford played way more in the regular and postseason than expected and did everything that was asked of him. To hear his teammates talk about him, his presence might be the single biggest contributor to the maturation of this team. I hope he stays one more year, but I will completely respect it if he rides off into the sunset.
Holliday and White may have put on the best postseason defensive performance by a backcourt in this century over the last 2 months. I'm not a big ESPN guy but Canty this morning made the great point (while they were talking about White leaving his teeth everywhere) that this team was not just incredibly talented, but how much more they just wanted it than anyone else. That combination is obviously lethal.
Hauser really came to play this series after a lackluster ECF. Awesome to see. Pritchard's 3 was the final nail. Dallas never recovered. Never have I wanted to be in the Garden as much as I did at that moment.
As everyone knows, winning a championship is REALLY HARD, and many things have to go right. This team is certainly good enough to repeat, but I assume nothing. But just like 2008, even if they don't win it again, it won't take away the magic of this season for me. Others may disagree, but when all the pieces are assembled, I believe this team ranks up there with the greats.
Speaking of traveling, I'm a frickin' huge fan of Pritch, but man did he take some steps on that long buzzer beater. Doncic hit him on the arm, so no harm no foul.MVP for G4 was the travel agent. Get them the hell out of there back home.
Great post.Holliday and White may have put on the best postseason defensive performance by a backcourt in this century over the last 2 months.
Ya Pritch took 3 steps on the 49 footer no question. I hate how lax they are with the travelling/Euro step BS.Speaking of traveling, I'm a frickin' huge fan of Pritch, but man did he take some steps on that long buzzer beater. Doncic hit him on the arm, so no harm no foul.
