I see his future as Ray Lewis...perhaps being involved in the ending of a person. Possibly two.
Canton Police may have a few slots opening up soon

His arm is much stronger than Brissetts... but he doesn't have the touch or accuracy short and that's why he fell in the draft.
He was pretty efficient in college, wasn’t overly explosive and didn’t turn the ball over much in his one final year as starter.

Looks like a Jacoby or a similar “good” at best QB if he maximizes his opportunity. Arm strength is largely overrated, most passes come in the first 10-30 yards.

Should have a "Too early to judge" option that's where I would land.
I think the last 2 options are the same. If he passes through waivers he's a FA and the Pats can also sign him to the practice squad as can any other team.
I think it's possible they cut him and don't sign him to the PS. Suppose they don't like him as a QB after getting a long look in the preseason (he's just not improving, can't understand the offense, etc.), and can't get him to commit to trying another position (or don't think he can make the switch). Again, it's possible and not beyond ridiculous. So it got its own option.

That will not happen he's a QB.

Nah, QB's have long shelf lives. They can bounce around rosters or work as backups for a decade or more.

I see a solid backup as his future, but he could surprise and I could be wrong.

I'm just laughing at all the Patriot fans implying that he's some hidden superstar in waiting.
If he had average accuracy the conversation would be quite different, but he wouldn't have gone in the 6th, either.

How many times over the years has the fan base gone gaga over a big arm that had nothing else behind it? I'll be pleasantly surprised if this is not more of the same.
Pats did not need another QB after drafting Maye, but they drafted Milton because he was too good a prospect to pass up, and at a premium position.

Can’t see them not keeping him.

Why would he be on the 53?

Brady wasn’t a starter either.
Oh please, Brady started and played well.

His coach as a senior started him half the time because he knew he was better but Michigan was scared they’d lose a two sport prospect.

Milton stayed six years, lost his job twice and never got it back. He started one full season. Again… this isn’t to say he’s a bad prospect because I said prior to the draft he would be a good dart throw QB at the end of the draft.

Maye is a much better prospect, Milton will have a hard time beating out Brissett. Some people here need perspective,

Malik Cunningham was never going to be a QB in the NFL nevermind the starter… Milton has a massive uphill climb, he’s not some phenom.

Not because he wasn't good enough. For some reason, his coach though Drew Henson was better.
Brady wasn’t a starter when he left college, and wasn’t a starter when he began his pro career.

Yet he ended up the GOAT.

How amazing is that?

If that's what you think will happen, vote! But you think will happen and what you think should happen are not the same. I too think he should be PS, but I suspect he ends up on the 53.
