Damien Harris speaks out about the dysfunction on the Patriots offense in 2022

Using Brady's progression as an example is just dumb. Like that was something typical.

It was obvious Mac was going to fail from literally day 1. Zero confidence, no leadership, no pocket presence, floating passes, panic in the face of rush. It was red flag galore.
No leadership for sure. Not many players can be "one of the guys" and a leader at the same time. He wasn't one of them.

With that said if he had a good HC/GM the last couple of years (and he didn't) things probably would have gone much better for him here.

Mac fell off a cliff after week 13 his rookie year when Harris told us everything was perfect.

He sucked from the bye week on and for the next two years. He just sucked.

Mahomes, Burrow, Herbert, Stroud... these guys wouldn't have sucked.
None of those guys had a joke of a coaching staff to "help" them in their development like we had here.

As Harris was saying they were met with objection when players tried to speak out to the coaching staff... this is nothing new really.. mcgininst, law, Bru all said the same things... we were just winning that's all.. if we were winning in spite of the coaching set up.. we'd hear nada!! Winning is the cure all! Winning.

Mac sucked his rookie year after the bye week when everything was great... you people seems to ignore that because the NFL couldn't get anyone else to go play QB at the Pro Bowl so they brought Mac and Tyrod Taylor. That's the joke.

Mac failed with Josh, he failed with Patricia, then got a "real" offensive coach again in O'Brien and still failed.

Mac led the entire NFL in turnovers, he just stunk.

This notion that someone "ruined" him is laughable... and we don't have to listen to Mac's best friend from college to determine that.

Point remains. Jones had the worst coaching on offense out of all those guys mentioned and it's not really all that close. Embarrassing, really.

I've said for a few seasons when Bill lost the locker room it was the end of the line for him... and judging by these comments and from others like Bourne that's what was happening.

O'Brien was a competent OC unlike Patricia but the coaching was still ass. Klemm had no business being in his role, Bill had already checked out and O'Brien threw up his hands on it all mid season.

Any team that has Bailey Zappe starting does not have an offense that should be taken seriously.

And who was responsible for drafting him? You won't like the correct answer to that one.

Josh McDaniels and Bill O'Brien were both considered good offensive coaches, at one point McDaniels was considered a "genius."

When the owners started dabbling in GM work and coaching it was the end of the line.

McDaniels? By who?
When the owners are also dabbling in GM work and coaching it was the end of the line.
Bill brought his downfall all on himself. He didn't have to hire his buddies Fatt and Joe to ru(i)n his offense.

The 2023 30th ranked NFL offense is not Macs fault.

All the INTs and Pic 6's were not his fault either. The crying and pouting not his fault.

The truth is that Mac is a winner and a leader. A ProBowler too.

They'll be first when Zappe takes over the league in week 5

They were statistically better in 2022 than they were in 2023.

Mac sucked... stop shilling for him just so you can say "Bill sucks."

Is that why Harris and Bourne are being vocal about what a joke the coaching staff was with Fatt and Joe?

Mac will take the job from Trevor Lawrence, he's just misunderstood... you want to die on that hill?

Bob Kraft said you're wrong.
The GM is 100% responsible for the pick. Jones was Bill's guy, he could have picked someone else but he didn't. It's all on him. 100%. Full stop.

Kraft said it was a collaboration starting in 2021 when Wolf was hired and Mac was drafted... sorry that ruins your agenda.
