For Rebuild Year One - The OL Isn't That Bad

They had a very good team in 2021,
Did they? 47-17 says hi.
they missed on the QB position... then Thunder insisted Mac keep starting even though the entire world knew he sucked.
Oh right it's never Bills fault it's always someone else I forgot. Lol

Way way way to early to predict anything. My concern is the Left Tackle position period. This whole offensive line will revolve around that position. We have no qualified starting Left Tackle. Career ending for our Qb's.

Salsa life is right. LT has all the early hallmarks of being a dumpster fire like RT was two years ago.

Put in a call to FA Conor McDermott!

Not having a LT, unless Cal Anderson is truly recovered, is a bona fide way to get Jacoby Brissett injured and Drake Maye damaged.

Maypo now says that Strange69 is Month to Month... Siddy the Sow, come on down!

Thanks again Billy.

If Mac was Burrow, Herbert or Stroud we're not even having this conversation and BB is still the coach.
Bingo

Funny how bitter Team Bill is now towards Kraft. Lol

Sidy Sow at LG is going to be a permanent home.

Having Caedan Wallace stay at RT—moving him to LT is not going to pay dividends—might just work well enough for Onwenu to go back to where he wants to be. Where he shines the most.

So a line of LT (TBD)-Sow-Andrews-Onwenu-Wallace could be decent.

LT, however, fills me with fear and trepidation. I’m hoping Anderson is The One.

I do listen to and like Bedard. like everyone, he is not always right. but I like his take on UDFA OC Turner. Sow/Turner/Onwenu along the interior next season is massive and strong. Wallace at RT certainly would have merit with the team looking LT next season.
carrying significant cap space.
most likely drafting top 1 thru 8.

In the 6 games the pats had Sow at RG, Onwenu at RT & Stevenson playing they averaged 123 rushing YPG & 4.6 YPC. Sow was arguably the best rookie guard last season.

The pats have three good OL starters. That's more than a lot of teams. I agree that the OL is an underrated unit. LT will be a problem and limit their upside in pass blocking obviously. Depending on the play of Wallace the pats will be drafting a LT or WR in the top 10 next year IMO.

Who’s the third? Cole Strange, probably. Well, he still has a long recovery. Right now he has one muscular leg and the other one is scrawny and still gimpy. Even an average nfl dt could bull rush him at will for up to the next six months.

I suspect Sidy Sow will prove even better at LG. Bigger mass with excellent athleticism almost on par with the freakish scores of Strange.

Sow is a good NFLstarter.

Wanna save our quarterback this year, find a big fullback FA and run right ALOT.

sow, andrews, onwenu

We are way better than last year on paper as it is. The real question of how much of BB’s hand was on the defense will be answered.
Maybe slightly better. There's a new OC (fourth one in as many years), new QB and QB coach. Rookie HC. LT is still not addressed. WR's are basically the same as last year (the two new "big" additions are rookies). Defense should still be in the Top 10.

They have improved but how much is extremely hard to say because of the high number of variables.

Andrews is only decent; I wouldn’t pump him up above his talent, patsinthesnow.

Good is Sow. He may be better than that at his natural LG. Onwenu is excellent. But only at RG. At RT he’s adequate.

My dream is Anderson-Sow-Andrews-Onwenu-Okorafor.

I think that Okorafor is our swing OT. I don't think that Wallace is ready; perhaps he is.

That’s a lot of beef to run behind.
