I don't know if I can take another year of that... There were times i said to myself last year, zach wilson is looking halfway decent...
Same
Love the same posters complaining about this being the coaching staff with least experience, whining about bringing in an OC with 18 yrs NFL experience in different systems that's coached Aaron Rodgers, Mayfield, Brissett, Watson, & Flacco.
qB coach sure, Oc I’m not sold.

He’s had a dual QB coach/OC role the last decade. I wonder if it is the same here.

Whelp….this is as uninspiring as it gets. Only moves I like so far are Covi and Mayo. Now I’m questioning if I should even like those. I’m just getting a serious no sense of direction vibe and it’s concerning.

Definitely points to trying to ‘fix’ mac.

At least should mean MHJ if the bears give us the chance.

Ooooof, he was the OC up here in Buffalo and may have been the worst OC they ever had. This was about a decade ago. I forget under which coach because they were all so forgettable. I just remember my daily drives to work with sports radio ripping him to shreds. Poor guy had Ryan Fitzpatrick as the QB. That didn't help him much.

I'm not feeling it... let's hope for a great draft..

A lot of times the average players make good coaches, it's true in baseball, not so sure about Football but maybe they brought him in specifically to tutor a young QB we draft.

I've heard the 2025 draft has a pretty weak QB class...

What's the use of stockpiling for a draft class that is weak in the the position of biggest need?

If I'm wrong about the draft class, then let me know, but if true, it's gonna be a ****in' weird three years at the least (should your prediction ring true.)

Everyone is saying that, but what they are also ignoring is that happens every year. Daniels, now being considered for top 3, in May of '23 he was the 9th ranked QB by PFF.

Going into the upcoming season with a "wait and see" approach... Just no information to base any kind of expectations off of... Which i guess is a good thing?

Two ways of looking at it

Option A : Huh, surprising

Option B : A time to test mens souls...

either way, Go Pats!

I like the posters who think Bill sucked and can look at the new coaching staff and think anything positive.

I've got enough to share!

A few weeks ago, I was reading about how the Eagles went from looking like the best team in football to sucking. An article I read stated that Belichick provided the league with a blue print of how to defend their offense from when the Patriots played them earlier in the season. He had a terrible year, but still destroyed the best team in football.

So we’ve gone from the league’s greatest strategy mastermind and overall greatest coach to this all star cast of characters.

2009. Due to their bad preseason showing, they fired their OC and promoted Van Pelt 10 days before the regular season started.

Completely neutral on this. I have no idea about this guy, guess we shall see. I also don’t think this means Mac will be around, maybe a bridge QB. This points more to drafting a QB to me.
Or to bringing in one of the UFA veterans he worked with (Brissett, Mayfield).
