I have a feeling that's what's going to happen.

They will not risk it this year by going all out. My gut states they will try to tradevdown get an additional 1st round pick for 2025 and build the team in trenches and start with Mac.

This will ensure people's expectations are rock bottom. Now the advantage of this is you can only go up and there is a high probability if you are lucky in drafting.

So if we end up 7-10 or 8-9 with Mac throwing for 3700 yards 22 td / 11 int

We are well placed into 2025 with an extra first round pick . We will see the new QB then. I have a feeling they will draft Spencer rattler in 3rd round.

I've heard the 2025 draft has a pretty weak QB class...

What's the use of stockpiling for a draft class that is weak in the the position of biggest need?

If I'm wrong about the draft class, then let me know, but if true, it's gonna be a ****in' weird three years at the least (should your prediction ring true.)

Anyone taking on the OC role for this team has to be considered cannon fodder that will inevitably come with starting from scratch with a first time coach. At least he brings some experience to the mix.

Personally, I haven't looked ahead and don't know but on the radio, they were saying it's a strong class.

Completely neutral on this. I have no idea about this guy, guess we shall see. I also don’t think this means Mac will be around, maybe a bridge QB. This points more to drafting a QB to me.
