Can you tell me something good about this hire Pape?
yeah, he has experience in the coordinator role, which entails a lot more than just drawing up a game plan...

Like the title says they coordinate everything on offense... QBs. WR's TE, RB, etc... make sure all the coaches are on the same page etc... executive level stuff... along with game planning...

I dont know a hell of a lot about him as a coach, but he does have experience in the role, which we need... this is a young coaching staff...

Rodgers was already a stud . What did pelt do with him...

This is such a underwhelming hire much inferior to retaining Bob.

Please don't draft a qb high and put him under this OC.

Going by the looks of it, I think Mac is the qb for this year and other OCs were not willing to sign on till the Pats confirmed the qb .

We are drafting MHJ or trading down .

Interviewed with the Bucs a few days ago.

Until a report comes out Kraft was offering much less than other teams then let’s put the pitchforks down.

I have to say I was shocked he was fired cause the Browns started what 4 QBs?
They all played really well.

He’s an experienced quarterbacks coach. I’m guessing that’s a big part of why they signed him, to develop whoever our qb is next year.

  • UofBuffalo QB coach (volunteer) 2005
  • Frankfurt Galaxy QB coach 2005
  • Buffalo Bills Offensive QC 2006 - 2008
  • Buffalo Bills QB coach 2008
  • Buffalo Bills OC 2009 - 2010
  • Tampa Bay QB coach 2010 - 2012
  • Green Bay RB coach 2012 - 2014
  • Green Bay QB coach 2014 - 2018
  • Cincinnati QB coach 2018 - 2020
  • Cleveland OC 2020 - 2024
He's experienced, must be liked been coaching for 18ish yrs with no breaks in employment, exposure to a bunch of systems.

But it does point to it wasn't a very desirable job, he was just fired by Cleveland after the season.

Or for you optimists, maybe Mayo just wanted an older guy who had been around the league and has an idea of how things are done.

He did so well with Flacco the Browns let him go, this has to be the cheapest staff in the NFL in 2024.

If Eliot Wolf is indeed the guy in power then this starts to make sense because there's the connection.
