Nothing is fekkin' announced, the 2024 off-season has not started yet. The guy who vetoed WRs for 20 years is gone.

He was selected by the Groh-Wolf-Belichick group of cooperation. Only one is gone. I suspect Groh was behind Thornton because he's not a prototypical Bill WR. If Groh sucks ass, he needs to go.

Just realized where that gif was from. That dude saying relax took that kids Ferrari for a joy ride.

Probably had money on philly week 1, ass hole!

Don't care. With all the evil going on in the country they are breaking this kids stones since he has a job and can pay fines and keep the scum sucking legal system's wheels greased.

Did he play with the QB Daniels during his time at LSU? Did he have a good rapport with him? That's what I want to know.

Also Groh should be put in a room with a Recording constantly playing Thornton being destroyed by press coverage. Never saw that coming with slender man.

I'm killing YOU? Bro. See Below.

I don't know how to frame this for all you guys any simpler: Bill made every football decision. Bill's gone. There's a new sheriff, he's not going to be afraid of taking a diva WR that Bill passed on 10 out of 10 times. Even if Groh and Wolf are here, everything was filtered thru Bill. Bill is why they didn't take this stud WR or that stud WR. Not Wolf, not Groh. Bill said "these are the types of guys we want" and then Wolf and Groh did his bidding. Even if Wolf and Groh stay... the filters and restrictions that Bill put on them are gone. Mayo will no doubt have a type of player that he wants, but I trust that being almost 35 years younger than Bill will make him able to deal with these young silver spoon types that Bill avoided like the plague.

One of the reporters (Think it was Andrew Callahan) seemed to indicate that there's a good chance Pats were aware of the situation prior to the draft. NFL typically doesn't punish players for incidents before their pro career, but anything can happen.

Technically his Dad's Ferrari, but that's splitting hairs.

Are people just brushing over the information that he was betting hundreds of thousands of dollars including on games he was playing in? This wasn’t a couple prop bets on some sport the dude is Phil Mickelson level ****ed.

Steve I was just joking with you *smalls.*

He can take his two catches and 19 yards someplace else.

Really could care less. He's not what he could have been.

Honestly, we don't have the luxury of throwing away picks just because they're on Day 3. Trey Palmer was a 6th Rd pick and scored more TDs than all of our WRs/TEs except Bourne & Henry.
Let's be serious, 6th rounds are long shots. Boutte was a good gamble, talented player that slipped. Didn't get much opportunity unfortunately.

Boutte was active in five games for the Patriots last season, catching two balls for 19 yards.

Hope the Pats can replace this lost production....

Yeah if he was betting on LSU then that’s a problem.

************, that seems to be about the lamest ass reason to arrest something a year or more after the fact. OMG, he online gambled before he was 21!!!!
Seems to me that, as is the case in many criminal investigations, they arrested the person on a minor crime (underage gambling) so that they could investigate the real crime (gambling on LSU football).

I agree arresting someone for underage gambling is a joke, but having hundreds of thousands of dollars of action on LSU football while he was a player there is a big deal.
