Scratch Cousins off the list

People keep talking about him coming off injury but players are recovering pretty well from a torn Achilles and he got injured pretty early in the season not in December so he must be healed by now and on pace to start football activities in a few months
Problem is that he's 35 and is coming back from his first major injury. Also let's be real, the Vikings are actually a pretty good team. The Patriots and Falcons are downgrades.

Also it's not just in a vacuum. Kirk consistently has chased money and will fight tooth and nail for the overall best contract. Neither team is really in a position to gamble on him.

Precisely.. so they might go all guns blazi ng for next 3 years and create a rock solid team. I think Bill will probably take a backseat feom draft inputs in first 3 rounds and come back in latter rounds . I expect Patricia to join him in a scouting capacity.
I’ll be rooting for Billl. Was happy for Brady .. hopefully Pats don’t go through a 10 year rebuild

Honestly, why would you want him here? especially at his contract level, coming off a season ending injury?

We are building for the future. Not a two year gap plan to be semi-competitive.

Building for the future is what people wanted, what they have been clamoring for, and its what we now have. Old guard gone, new regime in power. Going to have to take the lumps of the full rebuilding process while they find their way. Its going to get uglier before it gets any better. Bringing in a gap player like Cousins will only prolong the length of mediocrity.
And if they do get a gap QB until the rookie they draft sits for a year and learns, while also building up the talent on offense, There are much less salary cap costly options that will be out there.

Vikings will Franchise tag Cousins.

A LT or WR is what a lot of peeps are hammering for or trade down

I want a QB at 3
gotta take what opportunity affords...

BB’s philosophy still works, it was undone by really terrible QB play. Those who wanted change just because of change will soon find out. The most of the NFL can see it. Not sure why the Krafts and some of our fans are blinded to this.
I don’t understand it either.

Kraft got old. Figured he deserved superbowl trip almost every year. Here we are

He started hanging up with above and his click, then massage parlor and then Brady left, won super bowl. Then Kraft started to listen to the

around him, on tv and radio and we are here.
He wants badly to be liked by this crowd below. His football decisions are leading us that way.

I don’t know bout any of that. He’s in the entertainment business … money making business … we shall see

You stole my line…

Good for him and Bill ... happy for him ... the wins record is what he deserves.
Bill will be happy in Atlanta and hopefully he also finds some beautiful trim.
I will be rooting for him and them ... of course I will just like I did for Brady in Tampa.

Jordan Love shows there's value in a rookie sitting for a year or two behind a veteran. Even Brady sat his rookie year.

Cousins just keeps raking in the dough playing QB just competently enough for teams to think they can win a Super Bowl with him. I’m not jealous…
So true. Never seen a QB who plays as well as he does suck so bad when it comes to crunch time. He is just incapable of winning.

Don't want him but that statement means absolutely nothing.

i getcha, and that's why i said let Zappe take the lumps year 1 while the rookie learns... we don't need to go spend 35-40m on a bridge qb like Kirk Cousins... Love sat behind an entrenched starter... probably would still be sitting behind him if he hadn't gone off the deep end... and Brady was not tapped an the heir apparent in year 1, so of course he was going to sit...
