I'm just wondering if we get draft compensation for him.

That's probably going to take negotiation between the teams.

Right now there's no way BB can stay in New England unless he accepts a GM and I think he's too set in his ways to allow someone else to do the grocery shopping.

There's no denying that he has run our talent into the ground on the offensive side of the ball and that's not going to change unless someone else is choosing our groceries.

Overall I get the feeling that he's going to leave, it's just a matter of to what team. The leading candidates that I'm hearing for a BB trade are the Washington Commanders and the LA Chargers. If they offered a 2nd rounder would you take the trade? In a heartbeat.

Onwenu, Andrews and Broen have graded well when health. Strange also. Sow is a promising rookie. Henry is a good TE and his production has been held back by 10. Stevenson and Elliot are a good rb1/rb2 tandem. Douglass has a lot of promise and has had a good rookie years. JJSS, Parker and Gesicki have produced at good levels in other systems. Bourne is a capable WR.
EVERYTHING is diminished by the lack of a qb. Pit Josh Allen at qb and no one is complaining about the talent and the team is winning, a lot.

And yet Mr “Authority” is 29-36 post Brady, coaching and GM’ing this team to 0 playoff wins since Super Bowl 53, losing records in 3 out of 4 seasons including 4-11 this season. That’s not negative that’s fact. If I was NPR I would say the same thing. Telling it like it is.

4 seasons with no success and they’re no better now than they were when TB12 left. He had his chance to rebuild and it’s not happening. It’s time for a change with some new thinking.

Lowe has okayed 59 snaps in the last 9 games. He okayed those because Brown, McDermott, Reiff, Anderson are all injured. What teams 6th OT is good?
Not close to one of the worst special teams. WRs are fine if there was a qb, they mostly all succeeded elsewhere.

I think being the best statistical run defense in sonething like 8 years is pretty good, don’t you?

Only a fool doesn’t see how horribly the qb held back this team. 9-6 is a contender and D level qb play has them at least there.

Lmao, pats winning couple games and here come the BB defenders from under the rocks. He must go. He has shown his inability to put together a competent team. Without Brady he has been exposed because he keeps missing solid pieces in the draft. He keeps failing. Gonzalez pick was a waste. Yes he is good, but that pick did not help the team winning games. We needed offensive pieces.

BB the type of guy that will trade down from 4th to gain more draft capital. That’s all he does over and over again and with that draft capitals he keeps bombing on the offensive side of the ball.

Defense can only take you so far, you need a solid offense and an innovative coach, BB time has past.

0 playoff wins in almost half a decade. 29-36 since Brady left. And now 4-11. No QB. Worst pass blocking OL in the league from lack of talent. Awful special teams. No sign things will be any better anytime soon.

BB’s contributions will always be admired and appreciated but it’s time for a change now. The job is not a lifetime achievement award for what you did in the past it’s what you’ll do in the future.

The whole "without Brady he's done nothing" is not exactly true.
He took a bottom-feeder Browns team to the 2nd round of the playoffs in '94
He salvaged a Brady-less team to 11-5 in '08 (should have made playoffs)
He made the playoffs with rookie Mac at 10-7 in '21

That said, the magic has seemingly run out. I'm comfortably on the fence about keeping him.
Thankfully none of us are making the decision.
