I see you too are misinterpreting. Bill can do no wrong in your eyes too. He has you brainwashed too. Lol
Brainwashed?

I can think for myself, but thank you for the ad hominem attack stapled to a red herring.

Ok andy...

Matt Walsh, former patriots video assistant turned over everything.. he submitted tapes going back to 2001..
What rule did they break? None of those tapes broke any rule.

There wasn’t a violation. It was a PR move. The league thought they would get bad publicity and idiots (apparently including you) would think the patriots cheated. In reality what they did violated no rule, but the nfl punished them anyway.

I’ll ask again, exactly what rule did they break? Saying they were punished doesn’t prove they weren’t inappropriately punished when they didn’t actually break a rule.

Exactly the same as deflategate, or are you going to tell me gooddell was right in that too?

Just kidding pal.. having a little fun with andy.
You are the only person I know who finds being wrong and saying stupid things that you can’t back up fun.

Ok... so please tell me if we didn't break any rules why did we get hit with the punishment?

Nobody in their right mind should ever argue against Tom Brady being the greatest player to ever play for the New England Patriots.
Nobody in their right mind should ever argue against BB being the greatest HC to ever coach the New England Patriots.
Both of these all-time greats were even better because they had each other and a great strategy to elevate them even more. It was unorthodox from the get go, keeping a fourth string QB on the roster, replacing Bledsoe (the franchise QB) due to injury with a 6th round draft pick, winning with WR and street FA's at DB, taking no-name players and players at the end of their careers and finding roles for them so they were excelling at high levels, drafting an oft-injured TE out of AZ in the 3rd Rd. and turning him into the greatest all-around TE in NFL history, drafting a QB from Kent St. and seeing him flourish under BB as one of the greatest playoff WR's in NFL history. These things are epic and should be celebrated, who cares about a few mistakes along the way. We saw a GM/HC understand the team's strengths and fill in the other pieces the best he could despite having first round draft picks stolen from him and always drafting low in the drafting order. Tom Brady was surrounded by guys (mostly) by players that were in sync with doing whatever it takes to WIN and with attitudes that had team first attitude. If guys didn't adjust their attitude, they were jettisoned. It was a perfect match of personalities between a HC/GM and QB. It should be celebrated as such; I know that I've heard both of them state that numerous times and I believe them.
It is only a mental exercise at this point, but I still contend the GOAT would have been cut by multiple other teams if they had drafted him.

Too many teams look at a draft status as the inverse likelihood of a cut player being claimed.

How many teams would have tried to sneakily get him onto their practice squad and end up losing him to another team?

No. Your the most informative poster on here. Your always right, you never say anything wrong, must be great to be you huh.

Ok... so please tell me if we didn't break any rules why did we get hit with the punishment?
I just did. It was a PR move. The league didn’t like the publicity so they penalized the team.
Why did we get penalized for Deflategate? Because we surely did nothing wrong then.

Ok. Your right, everyone else is wrong.

When you and I disagree, I may always be right, because you just throw out unsubstantiated made up stuff against facts (like “if I remember correctly they were warmed to stop”)
This is a football community. Try to learn something here rather than bloviate about stuff you don’t know to try to back up your feelings.

No, YOU are wrong. No one is arguing with you. “Everyone” doesn’t lack knowledge of the facts like you.

Could you please teach me? I don't have any football knowledge. Whenever you get off your knees for Bill

Did the win last night move the needle either for your opinion on whether BB should stick around or what will actually happen?

It didn’t move the needle for me that much, I still think it’s time for a change, Gotta admit though they’re playing hard with nothing to play for.

Don’t know about Kraft. Black Monday is 3 weeks today… should be interesting
I'm just wondering if we get draft compensation for him.

That's probably going to take negotiation between the teams.

Right now there's no way BB can stay in New England unless he accepts a GM and I think he's too set in his ways to allow someone else to do the grocery shopping.

There's no denying that he has run our talent into the ground on the offensive side of the ball and that's not going to change unless someone else is choosing our groceries.

Overall I get the feeling that he's going to leave, it's just a matter of to what team. The leading candidates that I'm hearing for a BB trade are the Washington Commanders and the LA Chargers. If they offered a 2nd rounder would you take the trade? In a heartbeat.

A couple of points in this topic.

One, in Spygate there were fans calling for the Pats to forfeit the #6 pick which they had traded for previously, rather than their own pick. Other teams were looking at this as an opportunity to bring the Pats back to the pack.

Two, a few years later Josh McDaniel was involved in taping the walkthrough of the 49ers. As a repeat offender from the original Spygate, you would expect McDaniels and the Broncos to get hammered by the league. The penalty was only a $300,000 fine.

Why?

No one cares about punishing a 5-11 team and bringing them back to the pack.

Three, Deflategate was clearly not an offense, as was proven by the law of physics, and even fans of other teams supported the Pats even if they didn’t like them.

The penalty was nothing short of draconian, and reeks of a makeup call, for not taking the Pats higher pick in Spygate.

The stipulation that the Pats could not trade for a higher pick, and would lose the higher pick if they did so, is a draconian measure designed to cripple, not merely punish.

This is why the entitled victims have now become #10 apologists, because of you look objectively at the season, the F level QB play, if replaced by C or even D level makes at least 5 losses wins. The entitled victims need a. bad guy to punish for their victim hood, and have settled on “the roster sucks”. Admitting the defense is great and if the qb wasn’t pathetic we are in the thick of the playoff hunt, destroys the narrative.
It’s not that complicated. Look at those 5 games. Replace the qb play we got with C or D level QB play and no objective person would say that wouldn’t be the difference in those 5 games. But the entitled victims can’t have that, because then there is no authority figure to be angry at.
Look, it doesn’t matter lol. 4 wins, 6 wins, 8 wins or 10 wins. This unit even with average QB play isn’t winning a Super Bowl.

I’m trying but you aren’t a good student.

The gay inference is poor taste

It makes a big difference in assessing the needs going forward.
If Cleveland makes the playoffs and has no chance of winning the SB with a Joe Flacco, is their approach to the future different than KC who has the qb and a team falling apart around him?
