No one misunderstood any rules. No rules were violated.
If you are doing 45 in a 45 and you get a speeding ticket, that would equate to what happened to the patriots.
They followed the rules.
Ok so Bill mis spoke when he said he misinterpreted the rules? Should he get his 500k back? Should the organization get the lost draft pick?

No not what I said. I said we won primarily becuase of the GOAT. Not because of some spectacular GM.
So who drafted and signed the other 52 players? Who coached them?

Please provide a list of all the deficiencies on the SB Champion Patriots teams that represent “GM mismanagement”. Which sb champion teams sucked.

He didn’t say he misinterpreted the rules, you did.
He was adamant that he did no wrong.

Who made 3 consecutive 3rd down passes at KC to get us to our final SB? Who ignored the scouts and took nkeal Harry? Who put this roster together worst in patriots history in krafts ownership .

Ok I see your a Harvard scholar, so if I am doing 60 MPH in a 45.. I get fined? Or do I tell the officer I misinterpreted the rules of the road?
In hindsight, I would say that BB should have asked for clarification, although I believe technically, he followed the rule. Unfortunately, Goodell exacted revenge and there is no way to appeal his decision. However, even if you are right and think that a fine was legit, I feel your speeding ticket analogy falls short because typically one gets a fine that fits the violation. In this case the Patriots were given a punishment (multiple fines and 1st round draft pick) akin to something way worse than a speeding ticket violation. Especially if you look at other violations of rules since and before this "incident".

Would your “fine” include the loss of your vehicle and you be required to only use public transportation for a number of years?

The fine was a draconian punishment for a questionable offense.

It was an attempt to bring the Pats back to the pack, when other teams were unable to do so on their own.

3 passes is the total effort of an organization required to win a SB?

I see why you didn’t answer my question. I’m sorry you feel like a victim.

It wasn’t a violation at all unless you ignore what the actual rule says, which is like, how rules work.

From what I remember.. we were told by the league to stop. It was reported before mangini did. Were were on top is the only reason why it mattered at that time. The NFL justified thier actions by the fine. Of course I don't agree with it other teams were doing it.. however Troy Vincent used the prior reports to justify the fines. Anyhow.. Bill can do no wrong in Andy's eyes.

No don't skip over it.. say his name? I'll say it for you. GOAT from 2001- 2019.

Your memory is wrong.
if a rule states you can only film FOR USE DURING THAT GAME from
a specific location and you do not use it during that game, please explain how you violated the rule?

I’ve never dispute the patriots had both the GOAT QB and the GOAT HC/GM.

I do dispute that 3 passes is the sum total of what it takes for an organization to win a SB.
And you still won’t answer my question.

Not what I said. I said the team was warned in past instances to stop. It continued. Therefore is what the NFL USED in justifying the punishment. Of course it was BS we all know that.

Those weren't just 3 passes. They signified what it meant to have play from the QB position in that moment in a big game to send us to the organizations last superbowl.

They were not warned, that is not true.

I see you too are misinterpreting. Bill can do no wrong in your eyes too. He has you brainwashed too. Lol

So he did his job well.
What about the other 52 players, the coaches, the trainers, the executives? They contributed nothing?
You do realize Brady isn’t the only qb ever to lead a game winning drive right? And you do realize there were times they went home because he didn’t right?

What rule, exactly, was broken?

Your victim identity has you now making things up to trash the authority figure.

Matt Walsh, former patriots video assistant turned over everything.. he submitted tapes going back to 2001..

Nobody in their right mind should ever argue against Tom Brady being the greatest player to ever play for the New England Patriots.
Nobody in their right mind should ever argue against BB being the greatest HC to ever coach the New England Patriots.
Both of these all-time greats were even better because they had each other and a great strategy to elevate them even more. It was unorthodox from the get go, keeping a fourth string QB on the roster, replacing Bledsoe (the franchise QB) due to injury with a 6th round draft pick, winning with WR and street FA's at DB, taking no-name players and players at the end of their careers and finding roles for them so they were excelling at high levels, drafting an oft-injured TE out of AZ in the 3rd Rd. and turning him into the greatest all-around TE in NFL history, drafting a QB from Kent St. and seeing him flourish under BB as one of the greatest playoff WR's in NFL history. These things are epic and should be celebrated, who cares about a few mistakes along the way. We saw a GM/HC understand the team's strengths and fill in the other pieces the best he could despite having first round draft picks stolen from him and always drafting low in the drafting order. Tom Brady was surrounded by guys (mostly) by players that were in sync with doing whatever it takes to WIN and with attitudes that had team first attitude. If guys didn't adjust their attitude, they were jettisoned. It was a perfect match of personalities between a HC/GM and QB. It should be celebrated as such; I know that I've heard both of them state that numerous times and I believe them.
