This could turn out to be another huge screwup by the Patriots. They should have seen this coming....but then again it could be a nothingburger.

Barring a major injury to Lamar, we’ll never know if this was a screw up or not. Cunningham was never going to be anything more than a back up QB / utility player here so this doesn’t really impact the Pats.

Seems like a nice guy though…wish him the best of luck personally but not as a member of the Ravens

If he couldn't get on the field this year of all years, he's a much bigger project than one red-shirt year...

still, it pisses me off that the stinking rat-turds took him off our hands... i hate those ****s

Good luck to him. If he wanted an opportunity to play, he should have stayed here in NE. He's not getting on the field with Lamar entering his prime and Huntley being in that system a few years already.

He could have battled for the top backup spot here next year.
I think he's going to get on the field. Much like Hill does in New Orleans, except Cunningham will be more of a WR..

I wonder if the team anticipated a move like this if they exposed him on the PS.
Yes. I think they probably did. Especially with Lamar being such a big proponent of Cunningham..

Patriots had him on the PS because they did not value him highly. Which is why he’s well advised to sign elsewhere.

If any other team was gonna pick him up there was no doubt it was gonna be the Ravens. Good luck to Malik.
Great fit for him. Similar style to Lamar…just the light version. Pats didn’t know what to do with him.

Thank the Lord…. he quit about two years ago…..worthless here

I don’t know who is lazier… Him or Isaiah Wynn….flip a coin
Agree. Not a fan of Brown…perennial malcontent who plays hard when he feels like it.

Issue is, Bill has left the T cupboard bare so no real options.

Malik was never going to play as WR. And, as long as BB is here, the Pats won't actually convert to that style of QB...
which is why BB may not be here much longer.
But, Malik won't get to play in Baltimore either... at least with a real chance.

The $2 million pay bump to actually give a sh*t earlier this season was ridiculous. I really can't wait to get rid of the guy.

They can actually use him.

It's hard to keep a backup QB on your team who can't run your scheme.

He can do what Lamar does, albeit at a much slower speed.

He was an UDFA long shot, the descriptions of him as some precious commodity are total fangasms.

Keeping him at receiver for so long was a mistake. He was worth a shot at trying to develop as a QB for down the road.

Why did BoB and Bill not give him a shot to see what he has in this trash dump of a season?
While I think he may be too small, this amplifies Bill’s lack of creativity and vision.

More potential upside than Zappe or Grier
Why we need a young innovative Offensive minded HC

Can you substantiate the more upside?
