People have a hard time realizing the grass isn’t always greener. I like your callout of the games we will see in January showing just how good BB is. If we do move on from BB we will see how these posters like losing games due to poor clock management, head scratching third down play calls, not having diamond in the rough veterans and UDFAs, more fumbles, not having a top 5-10 defense, and countless other things we take for granted.

I even recall some of these usernames incessantly complaining about something — anything — during the good times. I’m not here to be their philosopher and I thank god for the mute functionality every day.

Defending their actions because it’s worse elsewhere on the internet is a new low bar for them. The behavior I see on here lately reminds me why some pro athletes refuse to play for Boston teams. We may have some of the best fans, but the North East’s worst fans are the absolute worst.

I think you have to consider the source. As you said it’s the same people who complained while we were winning championships. That pivoted to claiming who didn’t deserve credit for winning, and ultimately to victory laps for the Fellowship of the miserable.
Some people just need to lash out at something to help them through their miserable lives. Ownership and coaching are the ideal targets because the miserable like to both look down on any authority figure and presume they could do better, thereby proving all their bloviating makes them a smart person who would be successful if everything hadn’t gone against them their whole life.

Anyone remember this offseason when @patfanken and @Ring 6 argued that Bill purposely brought in Patricia, knowing he’d fail, resulting in a limited tenure, as a 4D chess move so he could bring in Bill O’Brien? All part of the master plan.

All the creative ways people have explained bad/unexplainable/weird moves by Bill, over the years, as genius has never ceased to amaze me or make me laugh.

I think there are likely plenty of successful people here who could pull the "do you know who I am" card, even if their success is in other fields. The only people here who've seen my LinkedIn were Dingleberry and Kontra, who aren't here to vouch for me, but you have my personal information. You could look up the last news article published about me to see I'm not some light weight in the world.

Intelligent people with common sense can demonstrate a better opinion on football, talent evaluation, etc. than some of the so-called experts. I've seen it here countless times.
