Wouldn't surprise me at all of Mac is the emergency QB or inactive altogether.

They can put Mac/Zappe/Grier in any order and none would be surprising.

About the only thing that would be surprising is if Malik jumps them.

He kept Mac because Krafts told him too. BB wanted Mac gone before the season started. That is why we have the most cap space in the NFL. BB wanted to sign a veteran QB with the cap space and the Kraft's vetoed it.

Krafts made BOB and BB work with Mac and made BB fire Patricia. That is why BB tried so hard to find Patricia a new job. Patricia's offense in 2022 was better than BOB'S offense in 2023 but no-one dares say that. Shhhhh! Patricia sucks so don't say that BOB is worse. It is all about the QB.

Andy Reid gets fired in Philly and goes to Kansas City. Reid gets Mahommes and now he is an offensive guru again. BB picked Brady. He knows a QB once working with them. BB knew Mac sucked. Kraft made him keep Mac.

I have been chasing this same line of thinking for a few weeks too. I firmly believe Kraft handcuffed Bill with Mac and forced BOB on him because Mac convinced him that Patricia “screwed everything up” and if they just brought BOB in and went back to the old scheme then everything would be perfect again. Bill said that definitely won’t happen, Kraft said do it. So Bill said well, I’m not spending a ton of resources on what will probably be a **** year. Lo and behold Mac still sucked, Patricia didn’t **** up his mechanics or make him forget how to see pressure or go through his reads. Mac is just bad.

I firmly believe Kraft handcuffed Bill with Mac and forced BOB on him because Mac convinced him that Patricia “screwed everything up” and if they just brought BOB in and went back to the old scheme then everything would be perfect again. Bill said that definitely won’t happen, Kraft said do it. So Bill said well, I’m not spending a ton of resources on what will probably be a **** year. I don’t see Bill letting Kraft boss him around like that.

There are only so many more years he can earn this kind of money. He quits, he doesn't get the money from the contract.
He's got grandkids now. Maybe taking some **** from the owner for a couple of years while he piles up another 20m/yr, and his legacy is already secured, isn't out of the realm of possibility.

Bill at 71 is a different story than Bill at, say 55.

Im simply stating the fact that last year had a better win record has nothing to do with Patricia being better than BOB.

Anyone in the media would tell you Patricia knew nothing of what he was doing. BOB is running NFL offense but his QB and roster is garbage
