Yeah. Bill was stubborn but at his worst you would never see complete incompetence like we're seeing now. And players not Doing Their Job.The question should not have been what Kraft thought about those 5 years. It should always have been what was more likely the following year/s. And wether it was Mayo or Ben Johnson it was still more likely that Bill would be successful once he found the right the QB then the next HC being good and the next GM finds that QB.
Luckily that next GM may have found the QB but we are still screwed because the HC is not good. Maybe Bill doesn't find that QB and we are screwed anyway but there were way less variables to deal with had we just given Bill one more year.
And what really baffles me is completely ignoring the blue print we used for our hiring process last time in favor of all first timers. Last time our HC/GM had previous HC experience and decades of experience as an assistant. And he came with coordinators with decades of experience. Any one of those 3 hires last time singularly came with more experience than our current HC, OC, and DC have combined.
It's borderline insanity.
Will be interesting to see how long the Krafts put up with this.
