How so? There was a bidding war for Cunningham.. did u know that? He got the most money for an UDFA... why did BB do so, if there was no need for him? Meanwhile Zapp had no interest.

He was just waivers and no one claimed him.
Not a single team claimed him when he would have been locked up for 3 years at next to no money with no dead money potential if cut.

That is as iron clad proof as could possibly exist. No one took him, for free.

I think it’s a pretty common thought here that a QB change this week is likely, and since Zappe is the QB2 he’s the most likely candidate. I never said he would be stellar.

I think there will be a change but only for this week. Mac needs a timeout from everything and it will do him good. He can come back in the Chargers game their defense is terrible so it’s an opportunity for get right game for him.

That's...not how waivers works.
They pick up the guy, pay the waiver fee (which is like $100) and assume his contract. Their priority in the waiver order also gets re-set.

Nobody gives up draft picks for waiver claims.
