There are a few good QBs, but I would imagine a decent free agent QB would also be a wise signing. Garoppolo might be cheap to get. Brissett will be a free agent again.

If they end up with a top five pick and out of the running for a QB maybe take an impact defensive player, a stud WR, or a LT and the wait another year to suck with Mac and then Go for the QB.

Nope if Belichick still does his impression of a GM in the upcoming draft then he will trade the top 5 pick for five 4th rounders and two 7th rounders

Nobody is giving any rookie part ownership so it’s literally irrelevant if he legit said that or not. It’s not like Kraft is going to say “no” then Mark Davis is going to say “sure.”

I'd be leery of Drake Maye. There are no sure things, although I think Caleb Williams is close to one.

Maye has one of the longest windups I've ever seen. He's like Rick Mallet with athleticism.

They could have drafted DK Metcalf instead of N'Keal Harry - Belichick has a patent on missing talent at the WR position in the draft - There is another one that was a miss - of course 7 other receivers went before DK too.

Father Time BB watched Harry onTape and convinced himself that Harry can separate on the Next level. That's when we should have known the game has passed BB by.

Anyone here who thinks that INT was on Mac is just as much of a moron and a hater as Vilma. It wasn’t tipped. It wasn’t a “tough catch” for an NFL WR.

Mac hit his overpaid WR with half a step on his defender in his hands while leading him away from the CB and the WR just whiffed. Period. Get the f*ck out of here with throwing into “traffic”. That’s BS.

I’m not a Mac guy but you are right about that play. That being said- he’s had too many chances as it is and it’s time to see what Zappe can or can’t do.

I’m not a Mac guy but you are right about that play. That being said- he’s had too many chances as it is and it’s time to see what Zappe can or can’t do.

They already know what Zappe can and can’t do but at least it’s something different and they can build up some trade value for him that hopefully is higher than the 0 it is right now.

Bill had a Special teams coach as Mac's QB coach. And a Dcoordinator that was splitting duties as the Oline Coordinator, As the Offensive Coordinator.

Coaching ****ing Matters in the NFL, this isn't the nba or the mlb.

Was at the game today, nice day to be out there, had a fun day in spite of the obvious.

At first I was pleasantly surprised by the OL considering Brown being out, with Sweat and Young being gone they could afford to let Brown heal this week before the long trip. I think they did fine overall but what irked me was their failure to make adjustments for the running game in the second half.

Being at the game it was painfully obvious that none of their receivers except Douglas can find ways to separate. Thornton goes half assed most of the time and is tipping plays. Not for the first time with him with that routine.

Can‘t really add much about Mediocre Mac that hasn’t been mentioned here multiple times. They could put Harrison Jr. and Higgins out there with him next year and it would be better but he’s still going to be skittish in the pocket, letting his mechanics slide, and throwing lollipops with or without high end targets.

Certainly my biggest disappointment was with the defense. Even without Judon they should have been able to get a lot more pressure in Howell and force him to his left where he makes mistakes. Uche, Jennings, and White came up very short today.

Finally regarding special teams, you’d think that the coach would notice that the same side judge kept finding reasons to flag Schooler in the 4th quarter and make an adjustment with the game on the line. Then you remember it’s the Achord/Judge clown show, so no adjustments needed.

It will be fascinating to see what happens this time next week after the Germany game heading into the bye week.

Yep,it just makes a Pats fan cry - we knew it was going to get bad after the dynasty was over and all good things end but no one saw this kind of futility this quickly - This going from good to bad was a quicker reversal than my 1st marriage

Vilma thought the defender broke it up and claimed it was a bad throw because the defender got his hand on the ball. Once he saw the replay, he seemed to double down on his take about being a bad throw even if the defender had no shot at the ball rather than admitting he was wrong.

But that is what you get when you get the D squad broadcast team. We have been spared it for so many years.
