Cardinals. But for the sake of argument let's say they agree to the trade.

I do feel Murray has higher talent level and upside than Jones. But he's kinda small for the NFL. Would probably get killed behind our OL.

So what then? We'd still need to find a new QB1. And restock the OL. And look for playmakers in free agency because we absolutely SUCK at finding WRs in the draft!
Just to be clear it was a hypothetical, I would not like that trade. Just throwing it out there

??? Shouldn’t you be posting that in the Jets forum? Pats have never won the offseason under BB, he never operated that way.
Nah, not hating....just that I was told here this summer during the joint practices that the Pats were just the bestest team ever and other assorted BS.

You can admit the narrative is different here now than it was in August. It's ok, it happens.

Turns out doing nothing in the off-season to improve the offense, and trading up for a K and P might not have been good decisions . Arguably the least talented roster in the league.

His demeanor seemed to be one of him resolved the season and his future is screwed. Never seen him so quiet. It wasn’t his typical snarky attitude after a loss.
Yeah I dunno about his future but he was definitely very reserved. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw major change after this week in some capacity which he had already decided on and didn't wish to speak to yet.

We have the worst QB room
The worst OL
The worst WR
And our 2 best defenders are out for most if not all the season.

I’d be resolved in this years fate as well. Ultimately this falls on Bill as this is his roster.

It is possible, and even reasonable, before the last two weeks, to have given Mac the benefit of the doubt based on 2021 and the coaching he had last year. Many here, myself included, did that. It’s also possible to see the team’s and Mac’s play over the last few weeks… and change your opinion. I’ve done that now, along with others.

If you had said Mac was not the guy along along, I’ll say you were right. You were.

But I don’t see the need to trash our fellow PatsFans brethren for having had the other view previously, and then changing it based on current events.

Was BB chewing on a Worthers Oringinal during his press conference?

It's time to fire Bill.

It's that bad.
I’ve been saying this since Brady‘s last year here, in New England… It is long overdue to fire Bill… He was nothing without Tom Brady… And he’s floundered ever since… Do the right thing, Bob, K, and get rid of him… Mac will be gone next year. Anyways I would start Zappy or another veteran for the rest of the season… Best case scenario is get a draft pic and get Caleb Williams…

great qbs can make a poor oline look better than they are. he'd get it done with this group.
Brady had an offensive line close to this bad once. He looked bad all year, everyone was calling him washed, he pouted all year and in the end left and looked like he couldn't be happier.

All this **** about slow starts lol it ain't like we've finished any faster

N
You still still can’t see the correlation from before? Did Bill suddenly forgot how to build a team after Tom left?
1) The game is passing Bill by.

2) If Mac Jones were a top 10 QB, we'd be competing for the playoffs.

As Ross said in the game thread, I no longer care about Bill passing Shula. Let him do it elsewhere. Time for him to go.
Yeah, his time here is done… Whether it’s next week or the end of the season… It’s long overdue

Sit Mac for now. It might do him good. Tua had to go through it and now look at him.

Too bad Russell Wilson is cooked or he would be a good trade target if the Broncos decide to sell. Still don’t know why the team doesn’t let go of their pipe dream about making Cunningham a WR.

I have suffered through a 2-14 Ron Earhardt season & two Rust & McPhearson 1-15 seasons in the past as a season ticket holder

Maybe we were use to losing, but none were as painful as watching this offense from hell.

This may be one of the worst offenses in modern day NFL history.

One of my biggest fears today is the thought of Belichick picking the groceries in 2024.

It is time for Bill & his boys to move on.
Thanks for the memories
I don't think fans understand how hard it is with all the rules ect. To NOT score In The 2023 NFL. You have to really, really suck to not score a single point.
