I like Mike Tirico, BUT his asinine statement last night that the lions win should have an asterisk because Kelce and Jones were out is complete BS. Injuries and hold outs are a part of the game. Lions beat them fair and square. Chiefs were at home and have Mahomes healthy.
Tired of excuse making for Chiefs. No asterisk!!

Cool then I say all our Super Bowl losses in the BB/Brady era have an asterisk. Brady's high ankle sprain in SB42, Gronk's in SB46 and no Edelman in SB52. Works for me.

The funny thing about that is the chiefs have had RIDICULOUS luck with injuries. They have yet to have a playoff game since ‘18 without mahomes, kelce, jones, or tyreek when he was there. Other than a couple drives when mahomes got dinged up. That’s absurdly lucky and unlikely to hold up.

So after one regular season game without 2 stars people are feeling sorry for them! What a joke
