Goff has no excuse for not lighting up this defense tonight. Jones out, Karlaftis pretty much their only somewhat-proven edge rusher. A decent, but not overly good, secondary.

The Lions play like trash outside usually, let's see if they can change that trend this year. I have my doubts though. I agree though they SHOULD, they have a very good offense.

And the Chiefs defense is a MASH unit right now, though Bolton is nice. His East/West pursuit is close to elite. A lot of what Spags does as a coordinator is based upon being able to disguise blitzes vs 3/4 man rushes, which get home when you have a Chris Jones and a Frank Clark in the mix. Going against Sewell and Co, Goff has the advantage. If he can’t waffle stomp that defense, it’s all on him.

It wasn't until about the 9 minute mark, (When Rodney said it) that I heard the words "Detroit" or "Lions".
