Well said.

If I decide to break into a house or **** with someone's property or family, I'm not doing it up here in NH. That's called suicide.
Virginia is weird in that it's not constitutional carry concealed. You can open carry. But you need a concealed license. If you have a gun under the seat of your car, on the floor covered up in anyway or even on the passenger seat next to you covered by a shirt you are illegally carrying concealed without a permit. However, if you have it in an enclosed compartment i.e. glove box or center console it's not considered concealed.

Don't ask me. It's silly. But getting a concealed permit is a pretty easy process. Especially as a vet.

Speaking as someone who got a DUI. The drunk mind doesn't think "Hmm save a life and thousands of dollars by getting a ride I can easily afford or potentially kill someone and ruin my life and career"

It's more of a "I'm pretty sure I'm ok to drive and I probably won't get caught and that's better than spending money on a taxi home and then having to get up and pick my car up in the morning"

I'm not saying it's right obviously but that's the drunk man's rationale
Indeed. And WTF is up with having bars with parking lots on (say) Route 1? And such bars let obviously inebriated patrons get in their cars?

Automobiles + Alcohol are much more dangerous than guns: 140,000 deaths/year vs 48,000 deaths/year.

… Kinda funny how the crime rate is soo much higher in Mass.
you have more laws, you have more crimes. Funny how that works.

YES!!!! Now wake your ass up Jack and THINK before making Stupid decisions!!!! Just got a second chance……use that energy to kick some ass this season and going forward!!!!!

As a former bar owner I can say it's a lot tougher to stop them than you would think. Our staff would do everything to stop them but you can't physically restrain them.

Plus people can come go out and do shots in their cars and the servers are unaware they are doing it and don't realize they didn't just have 4 or 5 beers but several shots on top of it.

So many scenarios. The worst one I was ever aware of was at the bar we owned but under the previous owner. A regular was drunk, the bartender talked him to letting her give him a ride and he agreed. She went in the back to get her purse, when she came back out he was gone. As she walked to the door his car drove by. He was doing 75 mph in a 55, drunk and texting. Slammed into a kid about 24 who had a pregnant fiance who was stopped in a turn lane coming home from work. Killed him instantly.

Beyond tragic.

Great news. He can concentrate on stopping the talented Eagles receivers now.

He's citing masslivesports which is that junk site we get in our links here. I'll celebrate while keeping an eye out for a more reputable report.
MassLive has Mark Daniels (formerly of the Providence Journal) and Karen Guregian (formerly of the Boston Herald) - two of the best in this market. Not to mention Chris Mason, who is also really good. It's a terrific - and a solid - source when it comes to anything Patriots-related here locally.

In a market where people are shedding writers, they added two terrific ones. Hopefully, they both stick around for the foreseeable future.

In addition to having a fall guy, this is a case that Saul Goodman(Jimmy Mcgill) could have won against the gov easily.

BOOOM. Guy Fieri from the top rope! That poor DA never had a chance. She is my new favorite Masshole.
She was also just involved in another high-profile case, I forget which one. Saw her on the news and was like, "Hey, that's Jack Jones' lawyer."

But she was firey and, at the time, did a good job of controlling the conversation and deflecting. Looking back on it, it was pretty impressive. Especially considering the outcome. Obviously, she'll probably garner some additional clients after this.

talk about a two tiered justice system....MA is a complete f#cking joke

Well, boy howdy, Felger and Holley and Chris Gasper don't like this AT ALL.

Good stuff, gonzo is pretty much Baptism by fire.. he's everything you want in a CB.. 6"2 , strong, fast, great foot work, instincts and make up speed. He's a starter and he'll have to adjust on the fly.. I don't think he's going to give up alot of plays.. in pre season there was no scheme.. our scheme is press man coverage.. that's gonzos strength.. but then again we are so multiple we can't stay in man all the time against running QBs. For now is surely Gonzo, Jack and Jon as the starters.

I have to assume that Gonzo will be used for the big, tall WRs that are so prevalent in the NFL these days, and not used as an all-purpose DB who has to go against the tiny, quick, smurfs. I assume that the defensive coaching crew will scheme things so that Gonzo will only have to cover the big guys. That being said, from what I saw in Training Camp, Gonzo could go step for step with anyone (although I don't remember him going up against Douglas--no one could cover DD that I saw), but he did not always make a good play on the ball...in other words he never seemed to be badly beat, but sometimes did not make the play even though he had good coverage. BTW, I saw Gonzo cover Brenden Schooler like a blanket (when other DBs could not) in punt(?) coverage.

Anyway, having Jack Jones in the clear is a huge development for this team. He was the best CB I saw on the field at Training Camp (Jon Jones was not on the field). This is going to be a wicked tough defense. Expect the Patriots to try to play ball control offense; ball control offense only works when the defense is playing wicked tough.

Another thing I saw in training camp is that the defense has an attitude. They know they are good and take a lot of pride in their play.

We can be sure Roger have something for Jack Jones.

There's also a purpose and a principle behind laws. This law is there to stop gun smuggling and for obvious hijacking reasons, not to be a gotcha for people making a mistake and being absent minded. The safety precautions are there for a reason after all
Forget the gun in his luggage. Thats not serious unless he took it on the plane and even then it boils down to whether the act was intentional.

Mass has a high capacity magazine law that is serious trouble and Jones walked without a scratch.

Judge must have been a Giants fan.

Judge: Mr. Jones, what do you do for a living?
Jack Jones: I stop people from catching balls.
Judge: Who exactly do you stop from catching balls?
Jack Jones: Well, Your Honor, it changes from week to week. This week I have to stop Eagles from catching balls.
Judge: Philadelphia Eagles?!?
Jack Jones: Yes, Your Honor.
Judge: Case dismissed. You're free to go.
