I wouldn't expect Anderson is ready for week 1. He's had some kind of illness, he needs to get back in football shape. This does make it optimistic that he's back for week 2 or 3 though, because otherwise why carry him on the 53?

he looked pretty good on july 7.......we still have no idea why he was out, how long he has been ready to come off the PUP......who knows if he'll be ready

Feels pretty unlikely, but they would recoup $11M in cap space if they did trade him. Anderson and Wheatley can both play on the left.

I think Trent is still very much part of the solution but I can't imagine paying someone 11 mil for the results we've been getting. I'm aware he was only part of it for like 20 snaps but that's part of the problem too no one seems to have been available this summer.

With the OL struggles I wouldn't be surprised if they keep extra. Plus, Bill pretty much always keeps his early round picks. Seems like that might end this year, though, too many guys. Mafi is a keeper and Sow too, probably. I didn't see much from Andrews even though he was the highest picked.

Yeah, I think they're going to try to sneak Jake Andrews onto the PS.

My goodness the Pats personnel moves keep giving us more and more to doubt. Is BB losing some acuteness?
Why wait until now to activate Anderson, leaving him no time to get acclimated or properly evaluate if he can even play the first month?
While trading for 2 OT's with almost 0 experience. After (re)signing 2 old OT's for decent $$, that you seem to be ready to cut?

I wouldn't feel too confident about Sokol either.

Brown is getting traded
Or
Sow is getting foxborough flu
Or
Sow and Mafi are getting foxborough flu


I see reiff being on 53 and then getting on IR.

yeah, something tells me Anderson coming back was not a surprise......and that the grabbing of the two OT's was made independent of Anderson's status; that is, they knew he was coming back and still made the move........i think #3 above is likely

Lowe does have ability to play G. So something to add into the mix.

Possible that they keep Wheatley for the Cam Flemming role from a few years ago? In-line TE in big packages. (Also working him in as one of the swing tackles, obviously).

Then go with just two TEs in Gesicki and Henry.
