How often have we said that RB's are a fungeable commodity. Like RB's, colleges produce 15-20 legitimate prospects a year. Successful OT's are a LOT more rarer. Yes Strong looked good on paper. Maybe he looked better vs the Cards, but where has he been the next 2 games?
BTW- why did the Browns let this kid go. This kid has played light out this preseason. They must be stacked at OT to let him go. You cannot have too many good OT's in this league. Son of a college HC and a 10 year NFL vet. It's a great pedigree.
I really like Sow as a DEVELOPMENTAL OT. I really don't want him starting this year. Let him ease his way into a starting role. RB's are a dime a dozen. I regret only that he was a 4th round pick, but he was a #4 RB at best who wasn't the greatest pass blocker, and that is a MUST for a Pats RB and the biggest reason why JJ Taylor has had a problem sticking on the team. Besides Harris is the kind of back Bill likes. He's big strong, tough and DOESN'T lose yds when he gets carries and is an excellent pass blocker.
