I hope I am not one. But I feel the snarkiness coming on.Why so many snarky responses?
Oh, no! Belichick traded a 3rd or 4th-string running back for a position of great need! How ever will his legacy recover from this one?!!?4th rounder with 4.38 speed for an undrafted free agent oft injured who would likely be cut

Not confident that Wheatly will work outJesus Sam, you have been *****ing about getting OL help all summer, and when they make a move to get OL help you ***** about that too. Unbelievable.
ok. At least you have provided context and substance.I hope I am not one. But I feel the snarkiness coming on.
It goes back to the draft. Trading up for a kicker who hasn’t blown past steady, reliable Folk. Taking a center from Troy way ahead of where he should have been taken instead of mammoth Ohio State RT Dawand Jones that columnist Morse says is doing so well. And not drafting a LT. A couple of decent mid round candidates. I especially liked Carter Warren. The Jets took him with our #120 that we gave them to move to #112 for Ryland. We also gave them #186. Just asinine. Ryland likely would have been available another round.
NY Jets trade down with Patriots, select Carter Warren at No. 120
The New York Jets traded down early in the fourth round and went on to draft offensive lineman Carter Warren.jetsxfactor.com
Carter Warren is a student of the game, who is highly intelligent, comes from a great family, and has all the physical tools to be a starting LT. Just had the bad luck to have been injured his senior season at Pitt.
So, yeah. A bit if bad luck. But also saw this coming.
Thru the draft the Pats could have taken both Carter Warren, reasonably still had Ryland available, and then taken RT Dawand Jones.
That leaves them only needing Sidy Sow, whom I love, at his accustomed LG. And Chasen Hines sticks with his natural RG.
Fewer moving parts and more continuity. Better line.
Yes. But my guess is LT. The move to RT occurred later.Groh said after the draft that the Pats drafted Sow to be a tackle - not a move of desperation. Maybe give him more than one training camp to develop since he was a guard in college. Let's see ....................................................
plus doing it now gives us an extra 3-4 days with him before the opener.OT is in short supply around the league, so assuming you'd be able to claim him on waivers is a pretty hefty gamble.
Because they suck?I think that K. Harris and Ty Montgomery remain ahead of Taylor. Not sure why people think otherwise.
We cannot have whoever we want whenever we want himNot confident that Wheatly will work out
He was on the field for the Raiders in the snow game and got a few carries.Apparently his father had a 10 year NFL career as a running back, but I don’t remember him.
A running back father with an offensive tackle son…can’t imagine that combination has happened all that often in the NFL’s history.
I’m not complaining about OT help, but this wasn’t on my radar.4th rounder with 4.38 speed for an undrafted free agent oft injured who would likely be cut

Now if Triumph hates it then I’ll really be surprised.Jesus Sam, you have been *****ing about getting OL help all summer, and when they make a move to get OL help you ***** about that too. Unbelievable.
Why would they move Sow to LG when they've had MAFI playing there?
It is a fact you could suck and still be ahead of JJ TaylorBecause they suck?
