There was an accident in a Daytona Nascar race tonight that would shake you to your core in regards to safety. The NFL and all of the other sports are doing the best they can with safety for the individual player. I applause the league for this.

Saw reports from Denver that Stid was having a subpar preseason up to this point. Good for him to bounce back like this.

Detroit didn’t let their top six Olinemen play a single preseason snap. As expected, the performance of the reserves has been shaky. At least in the first two games. But in the third they put in a solid effort.

Which shows you that Detroit’s OL depth is much better than ours.

But we got all those safeties. Trade Joshua Bledsoe for OT Germain Ifredi? Or, better yet, OT Matt Nelson, the Iowa Hawkeye DT who has successfully made the transition to OL and has the physical tools.
