I think it was relevant for both threads and I still do.
Now I can’t sit here and say I knew more than Bill,
Tyquan was the second receiver on my board cause I wanted the offense to become more explosive.
So I know the verdict isn’t out on Tyquan yet but early returns are both me and Bill was wrong.
Pickens Is a freak and it’s exciting and entertaining to watch those circus catches.
So I put in other teams camps, and also put in the Tyquan Thornton thread because they are both receivers taken in the same round in the same draft and also maybe a self punishment to illuminate the fact I’m not a knows it all draft guru and some dose of humility and reality is good every now and again.

In other news I read an article that said the Bill's D might have issues at MLB without Edmonds.

I also wonder how the Allen Diggs thing is going to play out.
This was topic of discussion on their board. A Lot of worry up there about the middle of their D.

Did I hear right that the Colts have named Richardson as starter? Can't get my head around that one. He's just as erratic (low completion %) as with Florida - 6/17 last night. On the other hand you have Gardner Minshew who is one of the better back-ups in the league. Seems a no brainer to start with Minshew and let Richardson continue to develop in practice and the odd bit of garbage time. This move only real makes sense if the Colts have already decided to tank the season and accept 3-14. As such they might as well throw the rookie to the fire. Not what I would do.

Maybe that IS their plan, and playing an exciting young rookie QB is an easy way to claim plausible deniability. We know they're not above tanking as they did it for Luck, and I'll bet Irsay wants Marvin Harrison Jr to be a Colt like his dad even more than he wants a duffle bag full of cocaine.

I was just gonna ask, by starting Richardson who are the Clots gonna Suck For this year? Now we know.

Yeah, you gotta figure anyone who tries to tank this year is doing it for either Caleb Williams or Marvin Harrison Jr. Unless Richardson looks like JaMarcus Russell, they're unlikely to take a QB top 5 two years in a row, and the Harrison family connection is a strong one.

I hate those teams that have tanked and then gotten a kings ransom in high draft picks from those trading up for a QB.

This is the guy I thought the Pats wanted for K and the reason we selected Ryland so high. Sounds like he's having a tough camp.

Rookie DT Gervon Dexter (CHI) is a player I hoped NE would consider in the middle rounds of the draft. He’s looked good so far; especially against Quentin Nelson. Highly explosive (though it didn’t translate at the combine). As I stated in March/April, if he could get off the ball in a timely fashion & improve his hand placement, he’ll be a star. As he continues to develop…whew…If CHI can somehow manage to land Chris Jones, they’d have a nasty interior pass rush.

I liked him too, similar to Barmore as a Monster 3-Tech or Old-School 3-4 DE... #53 overall was too rich for my blood however.

I don’t need to know anything more write him a blank check.
This doesn’t give me much enthusiasm:
The 27-year-old had been placed on injured reserve this month, marking the second straight year he was due to miss the season.

Is the (San) Francisco Flu a thing too? O’Brien’s top TE at Alabama last year was looking like a candidate to be the rare 3rd round rookie cut.
