Jack Jones may have plea deal in place

The Patriots cornerback was scheduled to have a probable cause hearing at East Boston District Court on Friday afternoon, but that has been has been continued until Sept. 15according to NBC’s Phil Perry, who reports Jones is with his teammates in Green Bay.

If he cops a plea and doesn’t serve any time behind bars will this set a precedent? Depends on who you are I would guess. Just a question for the average MA resident.

I'm guessing most people without major crime in their past get a slap on the wrist.
Sure. I guess they aren't factoring in the 2nd degree misdemeanor when he knocked over a Panda Express?

Would set a bad precedent if guilty. Especially if it is a plea because of who you are.
