Another attempt to dump Bourne. Won’t happen. Dumping Bourne for Boutte and Thornton would be giving up on this season and Bill won’t do that. He‘ll build the most competitive team he can for this year, not trade immediate contributors for future potential to develop. And he will take the team he builds this year much farther than anyone expects. I wouldn’t be surprised at a deep playoff run.

I dont think Bourne is traded, but I do not see any other way Boutte stays on the roster, barring injury

Some bubble guys have no business in the NFL.

All belong in the NFL...especially during camp. Someone has to take those extra reps, practice against the starters, and dress/play in the 4th quarter of pre-season games.

For a bubble guy or a JAG....their goal is basically to get better and hopefully get noticed in pre-season then land on some team's emergency list then wait by the phone all season or play in the XFL/CFL/etc...

3.) Good to see the offense kick some ass the last two practices. We may not be in for a long season after all....maybe....

That's cool. I actually think JE11 is a better mentor for a player than Brady would be. Brady is too unapproachable, and I'm not sure if he knows how to be encouraging in a coaching sense. Jules is a motivator and such a real guy.

I made the stupid mistake of turning on the radio. On 98.5, Joe Murray is accusing the media of falsely pumping up Mac Jones because what he has seen, Jones wasn't that impressive. And Felger and Mazz are accusing Belichick of having the defense tank it the last few days to build confidence in the offense and allow the SiriusXM crew pump up the offense.

Will Boston sports talk radio ever be listenable ever again?

This year rookie class looking pretty promising .

Gonzo , white, mapu , Barringer , ryland, Mafi, bolden , Demario and Boutte as well. Sow and J Andrews are also there.

That makes it 11 rookies . I am sure at least 9 will make the 53. Is that the new method. Get at least 8-9 rookies every year on the 53 .

I think we will extend only Dugger and let Onwenu and Uche walk unless their contracts are manageable. Onwenu resigning possibility is there at around 10 million AAV.

Does it really matter? It's 2023, don't tune into radio shows that you don't like, and instead listen to one of many Boston centric sports podcasts.

Caught them a bit yesterday in the car when my phone died and I put on the radio instead of Spotify...they were complaining about Cardona getting $6Million!!!!!!

This would be the third year in a row a lot of people see moving Onwenu to RT as solving a lot of issues.

I think the team has made it clear that's not an option. They haven't said anything but if they didn't do it the last 2 seasons they likely won't do it now.

We needed someone to beat out Hines and Russey at backup OG. We succeeded with a 5th rounder. That's a fine role for Mafi (being an option to start in 2024 if Onwenu goes).
