People just don’t understand the process. Onwenu is out. Strange is out. They will be back. We aren’t auditioning starters at G.
A big part of roster evaluation is guys on the bubble. Murray is as on the bubble as it gets, and everything you hear says he gets high grades in effort, commitment etc. The question is whether he really has the ability. Murray playing with the 1s wasnt because he was next on the perceived depth chart it was to get an evaluation on a bubble guy.
Every year we go through this. So and so is working with the 1s he may be a starter, and ultimately he’s cut. Because he wasn’t working with the 1s because he was competing to start, he was working with the 1s to evaluate a guy on the bubble.

Some bubble guys have no business in the NFL.

People also seem to forget Jon Jones was playing injured at the end of last season. He's good and he's tough.

Disconcerting hearing about the OL struggles. Hope BOB and BB can figure it out.

Honestly? I don't believe it's disconcerting. Andrews and maybe REIFF are the only starters on the field. The other 3 spots have been your 2nd and 3rd stringers rotating in.

It would be MORE disconcerting, imho, if the 2nd and 3rd stringers were easily handling the talent of our D-Line and LBers.
Let's let Strange, Onwenu and T. Brown get back on the field before we start worrying too much. Or start worrying if they end up IRed..
