SI listed their top 12 Super Bowl contenders. Pats were #12. There are 14 teams that make the playoffs…Well, as one of thirty-two legitimate NFL teams I guess they aren't wrong.
It's nice that they see something in the team. But ultimately what the media says doesn't actually win any games.SI listed their top 12 Super Bowl contenders. Pats were #12. There are 14 teams that make the playoffs…
Yes. I’m hoping for a very solid team to stay under the radar until about mid season, when the collective head scratching begins to wonder how the Pats are winning so many games with such a lackluster roster…It's nice that they see something in the team. I just hope they stay under the radar of certain posters on Patsfans.Yes. I’m hoping for a very solid team to stay under the radar until about mid season, when the collective head scratching begins to wonder how the Pats are winning so many games with such a lackluster roster…
This is a lot like that time we were doomed in 2014 and had to make a QB change, or that time we didn't have enough talent in 2016, or that time were were too old and slow in 2018.I agree, with all the cap space BB didn't do enough to improve the OL
We would love to see Tyquan build quite distance between himself and those who can't run with him.Bolden can run with him. Few can.
Ok ... didn't think I would have to do this ... (or that I would need a /s in the original response)SI listed their top 12 Super Bowl contenders. Pats were #12. There are 14 teams that make the playoffs…
Didn't he catch a TD yesterday? We would love to see Tyquan build quite distance between himself and those who can't run with him.
This ^ and turnovers was the biggest reason we only won 8 games last season and our offense dropped from 6th in scoring to 25th.
It was never about "weapons."
Fixed it for you.Didn't he catch a TD yesterday?
It seems people here have a hard-on in the hopes Thornton Doesn't becomes the next N'Keal.
How about we just wait and see?

Yep. Many eons ago I used to gobble up NFL preview magazines. I gradually lost interest when I saw, among other flaws, just how wrong their predictions always ended up being. It's nice that they see something in the team. But ultimately what the media says doesn't actually win any games.
They ranked 11th in red zone percentage and 6th in scoring in 2021, the weapons weren’t so different. That and redzone. The amount of times we'd move down the field and not be able to score a TD was frustrating AF. Good scheming is most necessary in the redzone, which requires a good coach. Trying to keep myself realistic, but I am optimistic about the coaching change actually being a huge boon.
Don’t be so quick to write him off then, let’s at least watch him play this preseason.Fixed it for you.
