It's nice that they see something in the team. But ultimately what the media says doesn't actually win any games.
Yes. I’m hoping for a very solid team to stay under the radar until about mid season, when the collective head scratching begins to wonder how the Pats are winning so many games with such a lackluster roster…

I just hope they stay under the radar of certain posters on Patsfans.

I agree, with all the cap space BB didn't do enough to improve the OL
This is a lot like that time we were doomed in 2014 and had to make a QB change, or that time we didn't have enough talent in 2016, or that time were were too old and slow in 2018.

Mafi today - I always like these pictures of the big guys next to a regular human.

SI listed their top 12 Super Bowl contenders. Pats were #12. There are 14 teams that make the playoffs…
Ok ... didn't think I would have to do this ... (or that I would need a /s in the original response)

There are 32 teams. All teams are 0-0. All teams are contenders at this stage. All teams are mathematically in the hunt.

This ^ and turnovers was the biggest reason we only won 8 games last season and our offense dropped from 6th in scoring to 25th.

It was never about "weapons."

That and redzone. The amount of times we'd move down the field and not be able to score a TD was frustrating AF. Good scheming is most necessary in the redzone, which requires a good coach. Trying to keep myself realistic, but I am optimistic about the coaching change actually being a huge boon.

Didn't he catch a TD yesterday?

It seems people here have a hard-on in the hopes Thornton Doesn't becomes the next N'Keal.

How about we just wait and see?
Fixed it for you.

I think all 3 QBS excel in that kind of offense.
Is there any chance of retaining all 3 on the active roster?
Or are we looking at 2 and Mcsorely on the PS?
Based on last few camp numbers he’s been efficient.
Would like to see some P season which I know is going to be Vanilla AF but some of the wrinkles will have to show.

They ranked 11th in red zone percentage and 6th in scoring in 2021, the weapons weren’t so different.

It’s a team game, coaching and coordinating are a big part of it.

Philips would have destroyed Juju on that play if it was an actual game….or if it was Rodney.
