I think signing Zeke pushes Taylor off the 53 and it’s Ty insurance. I hope Harris and Strong get some playing time somewhere somehow.

Zeke will get 10ish touches per game running / receptions.

Zeke is miles ahead of Ty Montgomery.

I am one of those fine with Rham, Strong, Harris, Montgomery and Taylor... But that's assuming good health and a 2nd year jump for Harris and Strong. Going into the regular season we are not carrying more than 3 or 4 RB's.

I agree It makes perfect sense to have 6 or 7 RB's now incase of injury, and just for depth in preseason games. Maybe one ends up on the PS after cutdowns.

That all said, I do think Zeke is a good fit if he's not looking for a big contract, and his ego is in check. He's still a good runner, good on 3rd down, and still excellent goal line back. I think it'd be good for the whole RB room to have a vet like him around.

Elliot would be a good signing for the Patriots. Give him
30-40% of the carries to keep both fresh for late and post season. Has some wear and tear but only 28 and a beast at his best. Good in red zone, good receiver too, dangerous on screens.

Excellent at picking up the blitz as well.
