Great we saw no back-shoulder throw and catch last year nice that BOB put that play back in.

But what set him apart was his explosion measurables, his vertical and broad jump were exceptional.I am pretty excited about double D. He was a very agile quick and shifty player in college. Hoping adding 22 pounds of muscle does not impact his quickness. Not saying he will be Julian Edelman or Wes Welker, but his agility and quickness are on similar level.
Can not find 3 cone drill times on him...but as far as the eye test goes...if you look at his play..he makes extremely precise and quick cuts.
I think he has a very high ceiling. But I guess he could flame out in TC. The fact that BB put him in with starters on day 1 of TC means BoB wants to get a long look at him.
"Starters"
Outside corners: Gonzo, Jo. Jones
Inside: Ma. Jones
Also some guys play faster than they're are actually timed. His cone and shuttle fell into that very good but not great category. But what set him apart was his explosion measurables, his vertical and broad jump were exceptional.

An over abundance of guys like Douglas is why taking Zay Flowers in the first would have been a big reach. Not because Flowers was bad but because there were too many guys like him who could be had later in the draft.
Two reasons… one Ty Montgomery can’t be relied upon to stay healthy. Two Cook may have to take a one year prove it deal because he’s entering the market so late in free agency. With the Young RB's looking good I never got the Dalvin Cook interest. Kevin Harris could be really good he was a Beast at South Carolina.
That's what I'm thinking, too.Boutte playing his way to the PS.

His name is being called which is a good thing for him. That's what I'm thinking, too.
You always are on the look out for roster upgrades. Particularly in the event of an injury. With the Young RB's looking good I never got the Dalvin Cook interest. Kevin Harris could be really good he was a Beast at South Carolina.
4.4 speed, very good agility, great explosion… I’d put Douglas in that “great” or “excellent” prospect category. Also some guys play faster than they're are actually timed.
He ran a 4.29 shuttle at the combine, so pretty good.Douglas' short shuttle number wasn't great 4.44, but his 3-Cone was decent. at 7.05.
