Hopkins Headed to Tennessee

It’s a solid enough group, but one without a star and also one with zero margin for error. The latter is the most concerning, especially considering that injuries at that position was such a significant problem in 2022.
You add in a dynamic duo at TE and, the necessary emergence of a James White type third down back—a big IF—and it’s a solid enough group assuming decent to good QB play. Another potential variable coming from QB1.

I blame the income taxes.
Don’t pooh-pooh that added four percent millionaires’ tax on top of the regular income taxes. That’s a disincentive on potential big time free agents.

Gotta get rid of that.

You don’t have to like other teams, but you can acknowledge other good players right?

I certainly do not know you but I do knows what you thought of these players before they became patriots and it was not what you just described
It was exactly what I described.

They may have made winning the division look easy, or even getting to the conference championship game look easy, but they never made it look easy winning a Super Bowl. Every Super Bowl decided by 10 points or less, the first seven by 4 points or less, all nine decided in the 4th quarter, and all 6 wins by way of a comeback and/or a game-winning drive. Having won them that way is more impressive than making it look easy.
As long as you know winning rings is hard, so being a contender should stop all the whining and moaning right?

The deal is, Bill/Bob/Patriots have set that standard though. People in Boston and Pats fans throughout the U.S. expect a competitive team. They are the most winningest franchise in the last 20+ years and are tied for the most Lombardi's, so it shouldn't be acceptable to start slipping especially while Bill is here. Things have become more difficult now because they don't competent QB play.
It wasn't just QB play, they rebuilt the team from the ground up. Everyone's gone except Slater.

Just stop. Nobody cares whatever it is you're blathering on about.
You never called juju a “decent slot receiver at best?”

Isn't he?

Stop obsessing over me weirdo... it's creepy.
You just said this 1 page ago

“Juju has always been a good slot receiver,”

Just wondering if you actually knew what hypocrisy was, clearly not

Hahaha you thought I was going to say Juju was a stud WR and it blew up in your face... decent is good joker.

Huh? Quite the stretch. You ever call Parker a bust?

The thing that I admire so much about Tom Brady he had few physical gifts, in fact NOTHING physical about him even sniffed at being anything other than being ordinary for his first 5 or 6 years in the league. What he DID have going for him were 3 things. A HOF mind, tremendous physical toughness, (I mean Grogan and Bledsoe tough) and a psychotic will to compete and be better. From the get go, Brady processed the game at a high level, and his "compete level" allowed him to do what we thought was impossible prior to him.
I'd add a fourth trait - TB was not afraid to fail. He hated it, but didn't fear it. This allowed him to stay "laser focused" in those pressure situations - 1:21, down 14 twice, 3-28, etc.

What's this cryptic mysterious bullsht? You have something to say, say it. Don't roll it out slowly.

"It’s funny because I know you weren’t a fan of Parker or JuJu before they became Patriots" - this is what you said earlier, so you're following me around, saving old posts of mine. Provide some evidence.

I said Parker was a bust for the 14th overall pick in the draft because he was. I also said he made some life changes in his diet and improvement and he could improve still.

You also said he was a bust the first 4 years of his career, and in his only 1000 yard season he dropped half his targets. Seems like High praise!

Provide links... nobody believes you.

Does it sound like something you’d say? Or that you’d take Nkeal Harry over him after the 2019 season? Simple yes or no

So you're a creep who followed me over to the other Pat's site after getting slapped around with logic here, and now I slap you around both sites and your name is Folly... err Solly, and you think anything you're saying is somehow effecting me at all?

Me saying I'd take the unknown of N'Keal, this was 2019, was a continuation of another conversation from a thread posted earlier on the other site. That thread was a trade proposal with the Dolphins, we'd get Devante Parker, Kenyan Drake and Josh Rosen.... so basically Parker and a bunch of trash for a first and second round pick.

What sucks for you is context.

I would take the unknown of a rookie WR still over Parker for a first and second round pick. We acquired Parker for a third round pick in 2002 and most of his contract had been paid by the Dolphins already. What a desperate pathetic soul you are.

Huh? I used google since you block your posts here. Clearly we know why

So your highest praise of Parker before he was a patriot was that he dropped 50% of his targets in his best year. Seems like you like his game!
