I park how I want Comrade Commissar shup about parking I will F YOU UP

I would love to hear they don't have enough to derail his career, in a selfish way. But damn.

As to the "all he did was try to go on a plane with two loaded firearms" thing... I'm not the Mona Lisa Vito of guns, but it looks like he had on him some real crowd-pleasers.

Honestly, I sort of want him to get off, because our defense was starting to look/feel potentially fantastic in a division of big arms. He was a huge part of that feeling.

The other side of it is stuff we can't talk about, but I'm for strong gun laws. It's painful, because it would be my ox getting gored, but it seems like this was a huge knowing infringement.

We'll see about all if it in August. He pleaded not guilty. I wonder if that changes with a plea deal before this goes to court.

SMH. You have to wonder if he expected a shoot-out when he landed. As a fan, I want someone with his chops or the equivalent back there. As a fan in this era, I want back my still cheap-to-carry 2nd year guy, not some big cap hit from a free agent hire who probably isn't as good. That's on him too if we have to replace.

I truly do not care at all about the charge, I want him back ASAP. It's a silly conundrum that pales in comparison to what quite a few in this league have done and who still play.

I'm 50/50 on gun laws, I think social circumstances need to be addressed before you can really begin to evaluate the role of gun legislation (however, it shouldn't be so ridiculously open).

Well that is your prerogative. If we ever brought in a truly vile human being like Tyreek Hill or Leonard Little I would certainly question my fandom.
Missed out on the whole Aaron Hernandez thing, I take it?

My point was more if we knew he was a horrible human being and then brought him in. Hernandez obviously had red flags but no one knew he was that much of a nutcase.

I think that’s my point, I’m a fan of the team playing football. I’m not judging whether I root for the team or not based upon a distant judging of character, positive or negative or people I’ve never met.

I've turned down the opportunity to see Brady in a movie because Hanoy Jane is in it.
I'll probably avoid Alec Baldwin in the future too.
Now that I think about it, there are a few Hollyweirds that I already avoid.
There are plenty of other actors to choose from but that's different than choosing a sports team. We're kind of stuck with the regional teams that we usually start with.
Why? If you want to watch the movie why would you not because of what you think of the personal beliefs if someone pretending to be someone else?
I can understand if you don’t like the characters they play but the person has nothing to do with the character.

You aren’t stuck with teams, you can change, but most people don’t fit the exact reason I am saying, you route for the team not the personal identity of the guy on it.

Yep, never gonna pay money to see those two again... Last Baldwin movie was The Departed; last Fonda movie was 9 to 5, on a date.

Don't think I'll be watching any more Avengers universe movies either, if there are any more...and Absolute Zero more Eternals; one was way, Way more than enough.

He shouldn't lose his job or go to jail for such a minor infraction.
According to the government, it's not a minor infraction.

People lose their job over off the clock stuff all the time.

This is my last sentence on this because it's impossible to have this conversation here.
I know about more people who lost their life because they couldn't have their gun than people who lost their job because they had one.

Well, at least you still have Grand Ole Opry.

Innocent until proven guilty is a good reason
OK.

So, you are fine with Jones serving at least the minimum of 2 1/2 years if he is found guilty?

Even if he's guilty the fact that he should be jailed or even lose his job is a sad joke.
I must have misunderstood.

You implied that what should matter is that you don't think that he should be punished for violating the law.

I'm not saying I agree with the punishment for the laws. I'm just telling you what they are.

As for people losing their job over getting arrested. It happens to people who work for just about everyone whether you work for the Patriots or Walmart. Organizations do what they do to avoid negative press. As a wise man said, it is what it is.

I'm still less concerned about the weapons' manner of storage than I am about their provenance, because I'm not buying the Someone else placed these in my carry-on without my knowledge argument... Is it one of the handguns or both of them without up-dated paperwork? Is Jackie really gonna claim that neither of them are his? Then whose fingerprints are on them, and/or on the clips, rounds & box: his...someone else's...multiple someone else's...or Nobody's? I hope they swabbed all that **** for DNA too.
