Should be interesting to see if Boston has the balls to make necessary changes in the chair and to the roster or if it's more of Stevens' boringness.

Stevens took the job reluctantly, ownership as reported kinda "urged" him to take the GM role . He has been pretty good.. this years trade deadline left more to be desired. Since having JT and JB the teams made the playoffs and had some deep runs. So it all hasn't been bad.

However I'll keep saying this.. find a way to trade for lemello ball at PG. He would solve thier ball handling issues. The teams lacks a pure passer at PG.

The team started 21-5 and looked like world beaters.

Since then they went 36-20 which is ok but certainly not dominating nor did they play that way.

Their lack of focus and sense of urgency caught up with them.

Agreed!! However this team as we've had to witness all season even as you mentioned the 21-5 start.. we loss to the magic, bulls teams that didn't even make the post season. This generation of players lives is run by social media. The kobe, KG, Paul pierce era was the last era where pride, accountability, championship pedigree meant something.

This is gonna go down as one of the biggest choke jobs by a contender in sports history. Not only are we gonna get beat, we aren't even gonna win a single game. While being the heavy favorites.

According to Mike Gorman he seems to feel someone will take the fall for this and he believes it's going to be Muzzulla..

Gorman mentioned he'd take doc rivers back in a heart beat.. all things considered I would top. Doc would have these guys committed to defense.

I've said that if their ends up being a coaching change.. I'd love Doc back.. doc is an excellent coach. I believe doc can reach these guys. Also as far as the off season.. find a way to trade for lamello ball.

Lamelo ball at PG , Doc ,Monty or Mike budenhauzer would be my choices..

The roster doesn't need to be completely reconstructed.. some small tweaks.. trading smart & drafts picks for ball in Charlotte solves the glaring need for a pure PG we haven't had since rondo.

The nuggets are smacking that team in 4 or 5. No disrespect to the heat. They deserve a ton of credit for making it this far, however... They don't have the talent to hang... And unlike the celtics, they aren't mental midgets led by the worst coach in the league.

Wouldn't say Muzzulla is the worst coach in the league.. he did get this team to the East finals...however it appears they just tuned him out.. after that loss in Philly with 2 TOs left and a challenge and not using them...it did something to the mentality of the team. This team needs a veteran voice.. if not Doc coming back to me Monty Williams would be my choice. It's just they quit, these are all veterans on this team. Tatum and brown have been in the playoffs since they were rookies. No excuses other than quiting. I would dismantle the roster I'm sure stevens will tweak it.. I hope they really look into acquiring Lamelo ball at PG.
