It is a shame that in today's society, people are presumed guilty until proven innocent - and even then they're still guilty.

A young man's career was ruined on what now looks to be a false accusation. Just another day in America.

I agree but it cuts both ways. A raped girl that files charges is often suspected of ulterior motives like money or revenge. He said-she said can be impossible to actually know what happened

MA has a howitzer for a leg like Baringer. This is a sign for you Belichick groupies that the available supply of quality specialists far exceeds the demand.

Belichick is like a greedy fat cop in a donut shop when it comes to specialists.

Didn’t we draft a kicker in the fourth round a year or two ago who disappeared on his way to getting some tattoo removed? Rohrwasser or something.

send mac to the browns for watson while we're at it.

Lets get ourselves the All-Star Sex offenders.
District Attorneys didn’t want to risk taking an L because it’s not a slam dunk. What a time to be alive.
From the article, I understand why you two, and others, jumped on this guy. But you are wrong. Read the NY Post article. Ex-Bills punter Matt Araiza wasn’t present at alleged gang rape: prosecutors

On the football side, I hope the young man gets a chance to play for any team in the NFL.

AFAIK, the civil suit is still pending. He should countersue the woman for millions of dollars since that is probably what he is out because of her lies.

Any rape charges against against conservatives are automatically false? Any other examples?
Who's saying this? I'm sorry you're disappointed the punter wasn't a rapist. Time will heal all wounds for you.

The two questions the Pats should ask: (1) Did he do anything that, if he were on the team, would cause them to cut him? (2) Would he fail a physical today?

I don't know the answer to these questions. But if the answer to both is "no," I think they should offer him the same contract as Baringer to come in and compete (and cut Waitman).

[Historical analogies: Julian Edelman was arrested for sexual assault, not immediately cut, and then charges were dropped; Willie Andrews was arrested on a DV charge and cut the next day.]

That said, if he is guilty of truly awful judgment like Jalen Carter, I don't want him here at all.

Why even consider Arazia, the Pats drafted a punter who is considered this years best???

Example No. 23,892 of how being a hater is "cool and fashionable" on patsfans.com.

Trump, Cavanaugh, Thomas... shall I go on.

Now it comes to light that no one will be charged because their is video of the "rape" and from the video it was clear that

A.) Arazia wasn't even there, he left the party an hour before

B.) It was consensual group sex

Plus numerous videos and witnesses confirm the girl walked around the party saying she was 18.

Look, no one should have to endure a gang bang, and I would be the first one to say to put anyone in jail who participated. But clearly, Arazia is completely innocent, has lost a years worth of wages, and the tarnish to his name will never be removed.

Pats should have signed him a long time ago.

Exactly why people need to pump the brakes when they see or read about an accusation...

Jailtime for the accuser

Reading the article, it appears that he may have had consensual sex with the woman outside the house an hour or so before the alleged assault.
Which may be why he claimed it was consensual and not " we didn't have sex at all."

I didn't once suggest Arazia was guilty of anything. @Jlaff felt compelled to turn it political with his talking point that a liberal lawman missed his opportunity to charge a white guy with an unfounded sex crime. Of course he bolsters it by naming only conservatives for examples as if it never happens the other way.

In cases where it's obvious, sure. But the burden of proof on that needs to be airtight, otherwise it will make victims of sexual assault even more reluctant than they already are to come forward.

You seem pretty damn worked up now that he's exonerated. After all the "crazy anti-vaxxer types" got yet another one right before proof emerged. (I'm double vaccinated for the record).

The dude got Brian Banks'd.
