Player Signing Patriots Showing Serious Interest in JuJu Smith-Schuster (Update: Done)

The real twist is Bill pays him more money than Jakobi. I had resistance discussing this before, but Schuster is a way better WR than Meyers. However, he's not a #1 guy.

If we pay more than Meyers it's a travesty. Meyers was known commodity and juju without a WR1 we don't know how he performs . He left Steelers because he was not that effective without a WR1. Chiefs had Kelce drawing double coverage .

So we let the known productive slow big slot receiver go and replace him with the slow big slot receiver that hasn’t proven to work in the system. Makes no sense.

Not totally accurate.

After his monster 2018 year, 2019 JuJu was banged up all year, Roeth went on IR after 2 games and their replacement QBs sucked.

2020 He caught 97 balls in basically a predicable, check-down offense.

2021 he was injured again.

2022 he had a nice bounce back year.

4.5 is not slow.

He was putting up #1 numbers prior to his knee injury.. it pretty much took him a season and a half to recover... he was Edelman esque in the superbowl... great pick up if we can get him..

He left because the pats did not give him anywhere close to a competitive offer. That’s been reported by multiple sources .

Juju is not a very quick slot guy he's a couple of notches over Meyers in ability but I don't think he will be enough.

Juju is nowhere near the athlete he was coming out.
He's getting closer to the player he was.. he had a pretty tough knee injury.. he still very young not sure he's even 25 yet..

a dislike on this post by mac10 because he does not want the pats where he always posts to sign a WR from his favorite team the chiefs because his god mahomes shall not lose a weapon.

Real: remember Pitt had a supporting cast to compliment him we don't.
